Re: Sample Hotspot Page - Sticky Please

That is VERY COOL, I only wish more mobile devices supported flash, as I'm seeing a lot more users connecting using mobile devices lately.

Great stuff though.
A JS script is checking if the browser is supporting flash content. If not, then it shows all in html.

Re: Sample Hotspot Page - Sticky Please

Flash animated hotspot login page compatible with mikrotik: http://drobniuch.pl/dragon/ It also shows the status and registration form inside itself. The registration script puts users into radius tables and the mikrotik takes the hotspot accounts from it. http://s3.postimage.org/FNfl9.jpg More spec...

1. Bullet M5 is 1x1 not 2x2. 2. I've had tested 433ah <> intel atom with r52n 2x2 vs bullet m5 1x1 @12km NOS. The mikrotik HT speeds must have minimum -65 rx/tx to work. On the bullet m5 i've have got 84mbit-HT on -76 signal. On this signal i've reach 30/30 fdx tcp. The disadvantage of the airmax de...

Re: PPPoE IPv6

I know the basics but ;) I'm using /126 between routers(so ripe ncc is doing on their routers) My ipv6 class is equal to /64, so i can not give a user a ipv6 address over pppoe? It's confusing but i guess i must get over it and think of getting a larger amount of ipv6 addresses from my isp. Big than...

Re: PPPoE IPv6

Thanks for the reply, but. Isn't /64 to much ? For a normal home user i would prefer to give /128 (1 address) or /124(254 addresses). What the hell user will do with 1.84467440737e+19 addresses :| ? Assuming that the user lives in a 100m^2 flat that is 10000cm^2. So the thing is, he will get 1.84467...

Re: 802.11n

no differnece between 4.3 and 4.4 over 802.11n difficult link.

regards
Ros
The thing is that in older ros versions the small packets were not pooled or the link was repeatedly reassociating/disconnecting.

IPv6 comments bug

The bug appears when I try to comment an IP address. After commenting an IPv6 address and exiting winbox, and entering again the comment dissapears.
It would be nice if the Mikrotik team could fix the bug.
Thanks!

No the CPU isn't maxed out. CPU load ~~~30%
The connections to the internet are working fine.
The issue is only "feelable" in MT 3.13.

The first problem is... I'm trying to do an anti port scan but this rule only works properly on MT 2.9.xx. The rule blocks the router itself if there is a scan detected.
