Thanks for arranging the MUM in INDIA. I would like to know about getting mikrotik certified. I had contacted earlier for the same and was told that you need to attend the MUM for that.

I would like to know more on this as i am willing get mikrotik certified. Plz suggest

Actually you will require to put a common IP in between that the master router will publish and two unique ip for both your routers. Secondly VRRP by defaults helps if you workout with single interface on one side in your case you would need to take support of a script to manage the situation. Binay...

I have a static IP which i terminate to Mikrotik by bridging interfaces on the ADSL Router, thus Makeing Mikrotik the direct PPPOE - client and dail in from mikroti...

Has anybody tried PPPOE with VRRP enabled Routers. I have a PPPOE WAN connection and a LAN connection and i have set up two mikrotik on VRRP. VRRP is working Perfectly on Static IPs. But how should i Configure my PPPOE client on to the WAN interface.

i too am using vista ... and dont have any such problem.

i too had the same problem some time back. I observed that two connection from same network creates problem. i mostly get port error. Some times bandwith also was blamed.

i had three dirrerent gateways so i simply switched routes of both on different gateway. this mostly solved my problem.

Finally it worked !!! Actually I was replacing card with a old single port card. Solution was silly, i fistly unpluged the single port card and booted the router once, without any card, then after that i plugged my 4 port card in. It was accepted. I think rebooting in between was the thing i was mis...

I wanted to clear my doubt about license... IS there any such restriction that demo version can not support upgarding the hardware as well. As software upgrade is not allowed in demo.
