We Have been Running 3.26 on or AMD athlon X2 box for about 32Hours. without a Full Crash. However the All of my hotspot users stopped working. We have tried for our second time in about 6 months using hotspot on version 3 with x86. Version 3.24 on an Intel Core 2, and version 3.25 on a Athlon X2. Both boxes have the same configuration. Both boxes last anywhere from 12 to 24 hours before locking up. we are now going back to 2.9. Multi-cpu s...

Looking at your Pictures again you do have it disabled.
I tested on Version 3.11 the option is there and the box comes up but it does not allow it reboot or shutdown.

the default allowed actions for the user group "read" allow reboot.
change your read group Policies or create a new User group.

I agree the Default should not allow reboot. But it can be fixed easy enough.

Try un-checking Transparent Proxy under the hotspot user profile.

Any users will have to logout and login for the change to effect them.

Slithr, The easy way, is to use radius attributes on your server. Mikrotik-Rate-Limit is a good attribute to use, we are using it with both PPPoE and Hotspot. Check the Manual for the formating. I don't see the radius section of the version 3 manual yet. here is a link to version 2.9 http://www.mikr...

I guess you have to add the new atributes to your Radius dictionary for them to work.

Now the rules get created, but traffic is not classified by the rules.
I am showing 0 Bytes and 0 Packets.

Does anyone have any Ideas?

DHCP happpens before the login and cannot be updated at will.
If the MT is showing the addresss bound to the mac, then from the other side of the MT your host will appear to have that IP.
You may try releasing and renewing your ip after login, to get the correct ip locally on the host.
