Omnitik + RB411 Reboots when SXT connected using station-wds

greetings all, we have the following setup with 411+ omnitik + SXT it seems to us something might have caused loops, where Rb411 reboots everytime SXT was connected using station-wds mode. (RB411 act as backbone) we have other similar setups using rb433Ah and rb411, also rb411 and rb411AR, all of th...

Address List over 30,000 lines possible?

Hi all,
Just wondering if mikrotik will accept over 30,000 lines of address list (/ip firewall address list).
i have no success doing this, winbox always disconnect when the address lists were pasted.

Got the rsc files would it help?

Tried on RB1100, RB 1000, and x86 , ROS v5.13.

Thanks

Hi, IPv6 works fine with reply-only on the bridge interface but now IPv4 don't work. Seems like it does not reply to ARP requests. I have not done a wireshark yet... same problem here with x86... big headache until i realized what the problem was Dido..RB1100 & RB1000 got the same ARP problem..

That's lower than I'd expect from a direct ethernet connection. You using half-duplex for some reason? The test were done one direction. Ethernet is set to 10/100mbps full duplex. It's definitely bottleneck-ed by the cable length (or even the quality of the RJ45). Tested again using factory made UT...

RB 816 looks abit bulky to fit in any network server condition.

[Questions] IP Addressing

Hi, Our provider has given us Point to Point Public IP Address (/30), and a few blocks of Public IP Addresses, consist of /29, /28, /27 subnets. So that they let us to the bandwidth managing on our own to each ip addresses, with the gateway of each client are actually in our router. My question is, ...

Re: RB133 very slow with v3.0

Slow =

- loading the os, from start, slower than using 2.9.46 (it's original)
- after os loaded, telnet to the unit takes longer then 2.9.x
- in winbox, it takes a while to display everything up (such as interface information, traffic, ip addresses, even slower when there're queue set-up.

I got the same problem with 'some' of my RB 333, everytime i changed setting, the RB reboot itself after the changes were applied.
It happened ONLY when using winbox. it's fine with telnet.
Using 18V adaptor with NMP8602 mPCI, firmware upgraded to RC10 & RC11, from its standard RC4.

The problem may not be the pps capability, it could be just the throughput problem. Currently the traffic never hits as high as 75,000pps, max that we've observed were <2000pps (around 800-900kbps). No firewall running, just plain routing & simple queue for 5 ip addresses, just for graphing purp...

Hi All,
I have ADSL + FO connection, and i wish to Route ALL traffic other than, say, 5050, 443 (for Yahoo Messenger), to ADSL.

Tried mangle traffic uses ports 5050, 443, then route mark, doesn't work.

Tried drop all connection that uses 5050, 443 in ADSL's ether also not working.

Any idea, thanks!

oAnd I don't think the DVB provider gives private IP cause you'll need a public IP address to route their downlink.
Unfortunately, i got a NATted IP address of 10.11.1.154 while gateway ip is 10.11.0.1
