They are still selling that switch as if it's perfectly fine, without any shame. This needs to be reported to regulators, other companies have paid large fines, in millions and billions for such behavior in the EU market. What they are doing is a criminal offense.

There is big problem with fastnetmon and ROS, besause ROS Traffic Flow is too slow and need over one minute for DDoS detection. With sflow it is 1-2 seconds but mikrotik doesn't have support for sflow.

Hi, IGMP proxy can have only one upstream interface. I you need more of one upstream interface, use PIM instead IGMP Proxy.

Hi,
right now we have deployed over 250 GEPON ONUs which don't support PIM. Our only solution is to use IGMP proxy.
(we dont have this problem with PIM, but we do have othr problem with GEPON and PIM, so the only thing left is IGMP proxy)

Hi,

if you have 72-76 Mbps, it must be UDP, not TCP.

The RB433AH can deliver (in my tests) about 60-63 in TCP max.

Question has already been asked an answered.
anwer is not real. There is somany links with nstream and version 2.9 and ping is very stable (1-5 ms on 20 mbita troughpt). But, this is my firt link with version 3 and nstream and ping is very unstable on empty link.

To many of my clients, who have AP in client mode (D-Link for example),mikrotik shows signal strength -95 even if the signal is about -50, -60. What coud I do? Is it possible to do an upgrade of script without disconnecting of those clients?

You can run PPPOE server on bridge interface. This will allow you to use bridge filters where you can successfully drop or limit pppoe discovery packets.

There are only 2 possible reasons for that:

1) insufficient power - are you using XRs or all 3 SRs?? Then you should find more powerfull power adapter, or go for RB600

2) Software crash - in this case guys from MT will be able to see it in the (auto)supout.rif file

Does anyone know is it possible to set mikrotik do not work accounting for some specific IP's ? Closely, I have mikrotik which is PPPoE concentrator and also free radius which is main for accounting and authentication. Hi, I have pppoe and hotspot server on 10.10.0.1. I'm connected with UTP cable. When I'm connected via PPPoE and when I start to ping 10.10.0.1 ping is 9 ms, but when I'm connected via HotSpotom ping is <1ms permanently. Does anyone know what makes ping larger via PPPoE?

in my case, I have full bridge network, most of units is mikrotik (about 40) and there is 2-3 D-LINK dwl-g700 and it happends that from those d-links packet storm is starting. I have blocked trafic to and from those d-links by UDP protocol, and for now everything looks normal.

Hi, there is possibility that cards are interefering.
I've seen it on PC's with tplink cards.
Do you make lab tests or it is outdoor ? If it's indoor, try to lower tx power.
this is outdoor, about 3-9 km between every unit.

mt3 have 2 wlan interfaces, one of them is in "station wds" and he is connecting on MT2(ap bridge interface on MT2) and the other one is in "ap bridge" mode. mt4 have one wireless interface in station wds mode and that one is connecting on mt3 (ap bridge interface)

How many wireless interfaces do you have on each node?

This looks typical of single-interface nodes with WDS
MT1 and MT4 have 1 wlan

MT2 and MT 3 have 2 wlan

Can you tell me why is bandwith double size smaller after every hop. It's about RB532, every unit have 2 interfaces, one in station wds and other in ap bridge, and on every mikrotik all interfaces are in bridge mode.
