Re: To double data transfer rate with a couple of R52

so, it's ain't easy... use rb112 with r52. you can put two cards in dual nstreme. perfect... we have try and resieve nice result. but as far as 50km we have never try r52. at these distances we use sr5 and xr5 only. just one of these cards can work in an rb112, therefore you can try with 2xr52 in a...

Re: To double data transfer rate with a couple of R52

Unfortunately, I can't use the RB532 in my country, because it haven't the CE marking. what actually is problem to use 532. i really do not understood what's the CE marking in your country. culd you explain more recently. regards, C. G. As a final user I can't use a product without CE marking and I...

Re: To double data transfer rate with a couple of R52

i want to tell you that we have never use that lmr900 we always use lmr400 computer in a big metal case wallmounted so close as possible to antenna with maximum 2-3m lmr400, that's all secrets we have... you have to pass 30 or 40 mbits, depends of quality of link, line of site clearness etc. I know...

Antenna grounding: Routerboards and Rootennas

Hello,

how do I ground a Routerboard mounted in a Pacific Wireless Rootenna?

Should I use a surge protector?

Re: To double data transfer rate with a couple of R52

Unfortunately, I can't use the RB532 in my country, because it hasn't the CE marking. The system I'd like to build must be able to sustain at least 24 Mb/s (40 Mb/s would be better). Perhaps, if I use the frequency of 2.4 GHz (turbo mode), I'll solve my problem, but I'm not sure of it. On the other ...

Re: RB133C, R52: 2.4GHz and real throughput

I tried this and its the same than normal mode :(

UDP max 25Mbit/s
Did you get that result in half duplex mode?

Re: To double data transfer rate with a couple of R52

Nope, RB133C only have one MiniPCI slot. Also you should go for RB532A if you want more than 15-20Mbit UDP on the board.

You're right... I fixed the error.

What can you say to me about RB133 when is used in a scenario like above?

Re: To double data transfer rate with a couple of R52

it's not so easy to say... 2 cards = 2X20Mbit. but the result is ubiquitious... simmetric channel with more bandwidth. once you try you can see. regards, C. G. I would want to know if the RB133 (not RB133C) is really able to sustain about 40 Mbps in a point-to-point wireless system like this: PC | ...

Re: To double data transfer rate with a couple of R52

AFAIK the limit is the CPU, it's too powerless to handle more throughtput, so if you put 2 cards, you'll get the same speed over 2 of them I don't know if I have understood... One R52 = about 20 Mbps Two R52 (nstreme2 enabled) = about 20 Mbps instead of 40 Mbps? Is that what you meant? Regards.

RB133C, R52: 2.4GHz and real throughput

Hello,

If I used the 2.4 GHz (turbo mode) in a Mikrotik system (two bridges each with one RB133C and, obviously, one R52), what throughput should I expect?

2Km link P2P: which components?

Hello,

I would like to create a point-to-point wireless link (5 GHz) between two buildings.
The distance to cover is about 2 Km.

The system will have to sustain throughput of around 24 Mbps (the theoretical speed of ADSL2+).

Which Mikrotik components do you suggest me to use?

To double data transfer rate with a couple of R52

Dear Sirs,

In the following system:

RB133 with RouterOS and two R52 (5 GHz)

is it possible to use wireless cards at the same time in order to increase data transfer rate (about 40 Mbps instead of 15-20 Mbps)?

Point-to-point system, WPA with AES and dynamic key

Dear Sirs,

In a point-to-point system (two bridges constructed with the same components: RB133C and R52) is it possible to use WPA (AES) with dynamic Pre Shared Key?
