I think S/N raiot was meant, meaning signal/noise. So how much "louder" your signal is than the RF noise that's around. If your signal is too weak and nearly at the level of the noise, the receiver on the wireless card cannot detect and decode the signal correctly.

Usually you would do this using Radius-Proxy. One RADIUS server will get the request, and forward it to other RADIUS servers based on things like a postfix/prefix or the like. So requests for ...@isp1.com could be forwarded to a RADIUS server at IP a.b.c.d, while requests for ...@isp2.com would go t...

Your problem is the very low CCQ (11/15) - with such values nearly nothing will really work OK.
You have to try to increase your signal strength (which is marginal, too), and see why your CCQ is so low. Interference from other 802.11 signals or other rf sources?

Re: PPPoE & Public IP need help

You don't really give enough information to give you a complete config example. As I read it, you do have public ip space available. Then it's only a matter of creating an ip pool assigning the public ip addresses (and not the private ones anymore). You do have to make sure that your public ip space...

3.0 RC14: DHCP client not using NTP server address?

I have a RB133C configured as DHCP client with use-peer-ntp=yes.
DHCP client status showing it got the right NTP server address from the DHCP server - but it doesn't use it. NTP config is not getting changed.

All of those problems were fixed by simply using the "correct" MAC addresses.

Might be because an omni has a beam pattern like a "donut". You will always get bad signal if located BELOW an omni, because omnis (if not tilted, which I would consider a really strange setup) will transmit/listen in (more or less) a "plane" around them. Apart from that, there a...

You cannot configure it via WinBox right now (I think), but via command line:

In RouterOS V 3.x you CAN do this without the need for the additional two routers. RouterOS 3.x does provide a feature called "interface based routing". This enables you to use more than one pppoe uplink where every pppoe uplink has the same gateway ip address.
