First thing to note, phase1 lifetime settings do not match. You have 1day while they have 8 hours (28800 second). Make them match. Also make sure everything else matches as well. Set proposal check setting to strict, it will ensure everything matches (otherwise tunnel will stop working). Thank you....

2. How do you delete a specific network from auto scan?

What is "route rule configuration" in 2.9.7?

In the 2.9.7 Changelog (http://www.mikrotik.com/download/CHANGELOG_full) is mentioned "added route rule configuration". Please could you explain what this is because it sounds like something I could use.

What I'm trying to say, in 2.8, you could look up the main table FIRST, then do policy routing, and then do catchall routes. In 2.9 you can't look up the main table first, and only if your policy routes fails it will look up the main table. One less step that was possible in 2.8. I will post routing...

In other words this different from 2.8 because in 2.8 you could have: 1. 0.0.0.0/0 lookup main (default router) table containing static and dynamic routes 2. any number of policy routes 3. if any of the above fails catch-all route to desired location In 2.9 as you route-mark traffic for policy routi...

Do route-marked packets see any other routes on the router?

I tried upgrading from 2.8 to 2.9 and some of my policy routing stopped working as it did in version 2.8. My question is do route-marked packets see any other routes on the router such as the static and dynamic routes in what used to be called the "main table"? Before in 2.8 the "main...

As far as I know keepalive timeout monitors the client's workstation by pinging the client. So if the client has a ICMP block on their firewall keepalive timeout should not be used.

Feature request: Advanced outbond load balancing

It appears two RouterOS methods for outbound load balancing is ECMP and source routing. Source routing is fine when you have only a few clients, but once you start getting hundreds and you have rely on multiple (cheap) uplinks in order to distribute your bandwidth evenly source routing isn't ideal b...

How to detect interference on 2.4 GHz - SNMP?

I would like to know if RouterOS can help me detect interference on a channel. For example, could I graph with SNMP certain parameters which change as soon as someone changes to the same channel? One parameters that seem a likely candidate for this is Overall Tx CCQ. I've tried to extract the OID fo...

Hi,

I have a list of approximately 500 routes which I would like to import into my MikroTik box. I have the option of typing them one by one but this will take way too long. Does anyone have some ideas of how I can accomplish this?
