Re: PPPoE Clients not receiving Gateway

I have some Mikrotik Clients running PPPoE client, that is NOT receiving their gateways. If we power them off, and back on, no prob. If it disconnects later, then when it reconnects, no gateway.
I also have this problem...

I hope Mikrotik will fix this. Thanks,

Re: How to redirect HTTP (tcp 80) ports to another server

It will work if you set the squid server to be transparent, but not if you need it to authenticate via LDAP. Thank you Hilton. But I tried some of the examples above and it doesn't work here. As I read through this thread again , I think I have a different network as yours. I have something like: I...

Hi Hilton,

So, did you call tech support? Is there any resolution for this redirect to squid server problem?

Thanks,

Radius Server and Hotspot trial.

Hi So, I have setup my clients for PPPoE authentication on an rb532a and we have a Radius server with a Mysql backend. Now we want to offer them Hotspot with MAC Authentication instead of PPPoE for faster and less problems upon login. Now my problem is, I want them to have a trial with the new hotsp...

Re: How to copy/move/backup Usernames and Passwords from User Ma

Ok, I just saw on Mikrotiks website that usermanager is not working in this version.

'User manager database backup loading isn't working in this version. It will be fixed in 2.9.51'

Hey itsh.net. Thanks for the tips. I will try those tips on 2.9.51.

Re: How to copy/move/backup Usernames and Passwords from User Ma

Still no go. I still get an error 'no such command or directory' . There is no user-manager command in /tool. I am using rb133 with RouterOS v2.9.50.

Anyone know why?

Thanks,

Re: How to copy/move/backup Usernames and Passwords from User Ma

Hi,

Thanks for info. But I get an error 'no such command or directory'. As I can see, there is no '/tools usermanager' command. I am using rb133 with RouterOS v2.9.50.

How to copy/move/backup Usernames and Passwords from User Ma

Hi, How do you copy/move/backup ONLY the Username and Passwords for PPPoE from User Manager. I mean right now I am deploying an rb133 as a PPPoE server and later on I want to upgrade/replace the rb133 with the new rb333. And I have a new setup for the rb333 that is NOT the same as the rb133. How do ...

I need to setup PPPoE immediately for about 10 clients and it is the only available solution for me right now. I will be using the rb133c w/ ROS v2.9 for special users of my network. I think I will go with the rb133 on my next purchase so I can have the option of adding a wireless AP. Thank you for ...

Where to get the 3.0rc6 for rb333?

Hi all, I am new to Mikrotik. I have a new rb333 which had a 3.0rc6. I then upgraded it to 3.0rc8 using 'routeros-powerpc-3.0rc8.npk' . Now I want to downgrade to 3.0rc6.
