WInbox is not saving where you are when viewing filter rules. I view "forward" chain rules, I exit, when I open winbox and return, it shows me ""all" filter rules.
Only with 7.x.does this happen. Winbox works fine with 6.49 viewing filter rules.

Please provide the post. If you are talking about the Jump Target field. That I had already un hidden when I first had noticed this issue. Nothing there in Jump Target reference my empty chains for any rules . What other fields or places reference filter chains?

I have exported all the rules and went through them all. There are no reference to the ones showing up in the drop down box anywhere. If I had any in the jump target fields, they'd show up in the export. Reboot should have cleared any memory cache. These are stored on the disk somewhere. If I have t...

There was not enough amps provided by the voltage regulator on the miniPCI to PCI adapters. There was a voltage regulator on my miniPCI to PCI adapters that supplied the 3.3 volts up to 1 amp and the radios take more than that. I removed that 3.3 volt regulator and wired into the 3.3 volts available...

The 3.3 volt jumper that is on some of my adapters is for 3.3 AUX used for (Wake-on-LAN) capability.
The minPCI to PCI adapters I have are the 5 volt PCI versions, not for the 3.3 volt PCI slots.

I'm checking this out now. I am pretty sure now that not having enough amperage is the problem. The miniPCI adapters I have regulate 5 volts to 3.3 volts but only up to 1 amp. Power?

The R2SHPn uses 10watts max at 3.3volts. That is .33 amps.

The miniPCI to PCI adapters have a 3.3 volt regulator chip on them rated at 1 amp.

I don't think power is the issue.

Here is an update and I'd like to find out if anyone else has heard of this? As I mentioned, I had R52n-M radios that would stop transmitting, go silent, after a period of time. The only way to get them to start working again was to reboot the router. I replaced the R52n-M radios with R2SHPn radios....

I figured it out.

When I setup my email account to notify me I didn't choose the "On state" option "unstable -> down". Once I did I started receiving notifications when devices went down. Must be they transition from UP to Unstable to Down.

I reported this problem to Mikrotik support. If they want to resolve this it's their choose. It's still in their supported hardware list and I think it should be noted. Maybe it should be removed as total functionality isn't there.

I see. What's so bad about 3Com? Has anyone thought of reporting this to Mikrotik? This NIC is on their supported hardware list. Just needs a little work on their driver.
