Re: Low signal levels

Could be your need to change antenna port setting on the AP.

This for the b/g Compex and the A/B/G card.
If your pigtail is hooked to the main port on the compex card the MT setting will be antenna B.
If your pigtail is hooked to the Aux port on the compex card the MT setting will be antenna A.

2.4 b/g mode performance

How many clients are some of you running in 2.4 b/g mode?

I am running a RB532 with a SR2 card have it in b mode.
Total client load is 38 CPE's most CPE's bw are set for 384kbs and 6 are set to 512kbs.

Would going to b/g mode improve throughput?

I took a lighting strike July 2. Replaced everything on tower and added poe surge protection at the AP. The only thing that I didn't replace are the antennas, lmr400 cables, and lighting arrestors. The download in the field is great but the upload from the cpe sucks. I've change settings on cpe noth...

Oh crap! The chipset is the same on SR2 & SR5. MT is selling SR5 on website. I also emailed support and they said it would support it. I would like to know what happens on this ASAP.

Did you try it on the RB532 board?

I just ordered a RB532 from http://www.wisp-router.com. MT is not selling the SR2 yet only selling SR5 on MT's site. I orded my SR2 from http://www.demarctech.com they had some left. Everyone else that showed up on ubiquiti website as a dealer had no cards.
