Just connect to the W-LAN, then it's a designated port :) It's getting changed automatically...

Hi,

i set the RB411s back to factory-defaults, and used the manual step by step... but it doesn't work...

can anybody post his config please? -> I'm shure it's just a small mistake! But I can't find it...

I updatet the FW to v3.24 .

I think it's the station Mode, but I don't get any connection ...

It's the following constellation:

Network WEB-CAM --LAN-Cable--> Mikrotik CR --W-LAN-->Router

hi, try network notepad... http://www.networknotepad.com/ With this tool you can draw your network map, and with a right-click on the configured symbol, e.g. a http/ftp/telnet/...-connection can be established to the device. very useful, and you can find cisco symbols etc. for this program... greets...

But the proxy will log only the ip addresses, or does it log the usernames, too?

Hello people, is it possible to log the visited homepages from the users? for example: If an user visits an illegal homepage, e.g. cracking pages or s.th., the hotspot user can't be located. The ISP can just see the IP-address of the HotSpot owner, but how can I log the visited homepages by the user...

I had exactly the same problems, but since I entered 127.0.0.1 as RADIUS-Server it works now.

Is it possible to configure the mikrotik router as an Site-to-End VPN connector?
I want to connect myself to the company's network via windows pptp connection, from e.g. a notebook on a business trip.

I would be happy, if someone could give me some hints ;-)
