Some CellPhone providers allow Email->SMS

Those points on the board are definitely not serial, as that would show up in winbox even without the serial port connector. They are more likely something like jtag or lpc to program the flash at the factory. If you look at the components, there is no max232. So if it was serial you would need a T...

If there is no warranty, open it and clean the connectors to the Sim card.
Use a cotton swap and some ipa alcohol for this.

RB411U has little different ethernet from the other RB411 so on 100mbps link it will show you green solid light and on the activity it will blink the green led.
So you don't need to worry about it.
So only one LED works (the one on the left)? is this hardware or software made?

No.
10.10.10.1/31 covers 10.10.10.0-10.10.10.1.
You will get a nice no route to host error with 10.10.10.1-10.10.10.2 netmask 255.255.255.254

Re: RB450G is here!

I'm guessing it's the ethernet drivers but this board is performing worse than the 493AH with 10/100 ports. Running a TCP btest to a 493AH shows 93Mbps while the same test to a 450G shows 58Mbps.
What ethernet port did you test with on the 450G?

Re: how to block website

You can block an URL by using the Proxyserver in RouterOS...
Or just block the IP's of a website by using the firewall filter in RouterOS, and just drop trafic to that IP.

Re: Ros static ip question. plz help!!!

Bridge the two nic's and set it to use firewall...
Then set a IP (from the /25 range) and set also a route for it.

203.56.234.129/25 gw.
203.56.234.130/25 firewall ip (ip for the bridge).
203.56.234.131-253/25 for the users.

Re: Ros static ip question. plz help!!!

Well you could place the (box) in the middle as a firewall only and just let trafic through (firewall only, no router).
So that the /25 gets into the network where you take 1 for your self...
It's not the best solution, but should be possible.
