Look for AR9380 on Ebay. For about 12 euros you have a pretty nice 3x3 2.4/5GHz card.
I have several 'Apple' cards (they are just reference design from Qualcomm/Atheros), working perfectly.

This is not true. For 450Mbit link speed you have to have 3 chains. This has nothing to do with power of hardware, but with 802.11n 2x2 standards. Please refer to the 802.11n data rates table here. You will see that with two chains, 300Mbit is maximum: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11n-2009...

Re: 60MHz channel under ROS 6

width=30 is the max value and since you are using extension channel you are already using 60mhz (2x30mhz). Maybe it isn't working so well so try to lower the width to 29, 28 or even little lower.
Ok I will do that later today, but it seems it wont to expand at all. I will try it later

CERAGONs vs Dude, game vs killa?

We started to produce microwave units from 10-18GHz for obsolete Ceragon modem, which is bringing fine backbones to our network with thruput of 150mbit FDX. We decided to install several links to our network, same as we sell those product to other ISPs. As we use Nagios, there are no problems. Unfor...

Re: Spikes in Traffic

We have the dude setup to monitor about 35+ routers going to a VPN concentrator, and for some reason, every 5 minutes we have this spike in traffic on both the core MikroTik that monitors those routers and a much smaller version on each of the 35 other routers. The way I have the Dude configured is...

Channel spacing

In 2.4, the standard channels (20Mhz) overlap. With 10Mhz, it seems that MT eliminated all the non-orthogonal channels, so that everything that can be selected is actuall usable. Under 5Mhz, they are all back, since they are now completely orthogonal. 20Mhz wide is selectable in 5Mhz increments, as...

If rule 26 is your last drop rule then you might remove this:

connection-state=invalid

You want to drop all connections, not just ones marked invalid.

Sam
When I make change as you told all traffic is cut off unfortunately except P2P (it is like DNS is cutted off)

You can use 'system upgrade' feature if you want to get the software package directly from other routers FTP server. Look in the docume...
