I'm guessing it's the ethernet drivers but this board is performing worse than the 493AH with 10/100 ports. Running a TCP btest to a 493AH shows 93Mbps while the same test to a 450G shows 58Mbps.

2.9.14 Install on CF in Mini-ITX Board

I'm trying to install version 2.9.14 on a new CF card in a Mini-ITX system. The installation goes fine until it gets to the part that says, "Installation Complete" and then the system just hangs. Rebooting the system hangs after it checks the disks and finds them ok. Any ideas? Installed i...

Wireless Bridging Problem CPE->AP->AP->CPE->ethe

We are trying to bridge three locations together using Mikrotik and 2.9.13 and 2.9.14. One end has a client setup talking to an AP on the tower using station-wds. Connecting from the tower to the client works fine. The AP side has two radios both running as APs and bridged together. The second AP is...

Routerboard Serial Port Problem

I can't connect to two Routerboards with a serial port. The serial port was set to 115Kbps w/hardware flow control but nothing. Turned off flow control on the PC and Routerboard but still don't see anything. Checked the settings on the Routerboards for the serial port as well. Any idea why I can't s...

Web-proxy on RB532 and CF Microdrive

I have a Hitachi 4GB Microdrive in an RB532 running 2.9.10 w/web-proxy test package. The package list shows web-proxy is installed but I don't see it in /ip web-proxy. There are more options in /ip proxy though. I'm trying to get the RB to see the microdrive but I don't know how to set the cache to ...

Increasing the priority of the queues didn't help either. Out of idea on this end. Anyone else know what might be causing the problem?

Bad pings outbound, normal pings inbound?

I'm sure this is queue related, but we are seeing poor fluctuating pings on outbound connections but normal pings on inbound connections. We are seeing the same problem on gaming server pings and VoIP pings not just ICMP traffic. From a machine connected to the LAN port pinging a machine connected t...

Removing the out-interface and moving the rule to the top didn't work. Here's what I have: 0 chain=dstnat dst-address=65.XX.XX.203 protocol=tcp dst-port=8021 action=dst-nat to-addresses=192.168.1.21 to-ports=80 1 chain=srcnat src-address=192.168.1.0/24 action=masquerade I disabled all other rules. Has nothing to do with DNS since we are just going to the site with the IP address. It's possible it's something stupid but I just followed the example right out of the manual. The connection table shows "syn sent" but nothing on the internal IP address shows up. So, Mikrotik sees the pack...

The other rules just forward to other ports on other computers. (They don't work either.) I agree rule 11 is useless but tried it when nothing else worked. By the way, I'm using 2.9.8 on this router.

What else in the config is there to see? Just the IP addresses set on the two ethernet ports and default route. Other dst-nat rules have been set to other ports but they don't work either.

No filter rules have been defined. Didn't read about having to modify and filter rules in the manual for destination NAT. Masquerading works fine. Is there something else I have to add?

The client that disconnects on transmit is the CM9 radio, not the SR5. So, the SR5 shouldn't have any power problems. The SR5 is in a RB532 so it's not an issue of the SR5 drawing too much power. Downloads from the SR5 to the CM9 work fine.

Association drops on heavy upload traffic

With an SR5 card in one box with a 23dBi panel and a CM9 in another box with a 19dBi PacWireless panel both running 2.9 the connection drops on heavy upload traffic. Both sides are set to connect at no higher than 24Mbps and download transfers exceed 8 Mbps but once a heavy upload starts the connect...

Yes, we have the convertors but we didn't want to add another power adapter to the mix or take up any more space in the small cabinet.

SC Fiber Ethernet Controller Supported?

Does anyone know of an SC fiber ethernet controller that works with Mikrotik? I could only find one DLINK but no one in the US sells them. I purchased a D-Link DGE-550SX by mistake but it's not showing up in the interfaces. :(

Any recommendations?
