Re: L2TP tunnel. Internet using remote gateway.

So my problem is solved with pptp tunnel.

Now i have another question. How to bypass this route to one or more users(ip address or Ethernet port). I want all users go to internet using remote gateway and one user go to internet using default ISP gateway.

any suggestions?

Re: L2TP tunnel. Internet using remote gateway.

Thank you for all your reply's. It is working. Now i have another question. Host on remote network after some time (~15 min) loses connectivity to internet and speed is very slow, but l2tp tunnel works fine. After changing default route to their own, everything works fine.

Re: L2TP tunnel. Internet using remote gateway.

simply add default gateway to tunnel interface on your remote router, so all remote office's traffic will go to the local router
I do not fully understand where should i do this.

Re: two wan interfaces, one lan

It is possible with policy-routing. 1) Add mangle rule for HTTP traffic with action=mark-routing. 2) Add two routes, - one default gateway for other traffic; - second gateway for HTTP traffic with routing-mark=http_from_mangle; And what about NAT? Now i am using two routers. MT router is configured...

Re: strange ip's in hotspot

If your clients are static IP, then I would bypass your clients by IP, rather than by MAC. If he/she is always assigned 192.168.21.34, then bypass that IP. But if i bypass that IP then i am unable to control rate limit using user profiles. And hotspot is only needed for this: http://wiki.mikrotik.c...

Re: strange ip's in hotspot

If your client does not request a new IP when he/she connects, the hotspot will do a one-to-one NAT. The 'Address' is the IP the client is using, and the 'To Address' is the address the hotspot is translating that IP to. But how my client should request new IP? He is using static IP(DHCP is impossi...

another question from hotspot would be why "To Address" is different from "Address". It seems like it happens randomly to hosts, and when it happens they lost connectivity
