Issue - Fetch tool adds trailing slash to URL.

Hi all, I'm running the following command. The only problem is that it the fetch tool adds a trailing slash to the URL which the remote web service doesn't accept. Is there any way to turn the trailing slash off? /tool fetch url="http://admin:123456@192.168.21.25/reboot" The command works ...

Re: GSP reboot via Router OS script.

Hi Docmarius,

Well the objective is to get the GSP to reboot automatically. It doesn't take characters or a trailing slash over the http://ip/reboot .

Thanks,
Tim

GSP reboot via Router OS script.

Hi all, We have sporadic issue with our GSP's and would like to reboot them periodically. I have a URL that worked with the GSP's as follows: http://user:pass@192.168.xxx.xxx/reboot This reboots the GSP, however, this doesn't work vis RouterOS script with fetch. I think RouterOS adds a slash after t...

Re: Don't use Userman.

This is not absolutely right. UM works well, as long as the following conditions are true: 1: The current month name contains not the letter "R" 2: It is a sunny day at my Home town In Peloponesse 3: I pay my respects, daily, to my Gods, ancient and new ones 4: Cloves of garlic are placed...

Don't use Userman.

Just a simple warning to those out there that think Userman is a solution to their Radius requirements. It's not. Don't use it, nor expect it to work at all or for your particular application.

Peace.

Re: Eth. port flapping, when is this going to be solved?

Then what you encountering is a logging notification issue of the ethernet port, other posters have said connected client's are not effected when the issue occurs, can you conduct a bandwidth test across the effected unit and check if there is a drop in throughput when this happens Thanks but all o...

Re: Eth. port flapping, when is this going to be solved?

Can i ask when you say "get drops on one of the ports... " is this traffic drops or the log saying interface info has changed?
Yes, "interface info" in the log shows the interface going down and then up again.

When take out the date range I get all the stats since the Usermanager has been active which is hardly usable....

Re: user-manager profile v5.RC5

"Should" be there but I'd imagine that the lead (only) developer on the User Manager side of things leaving has put a halt on development.

I don't hate the web manager, but I'd love to automate my provisioning process.

Mikrotik, please add this. It is a much needed feature.

Thanks. I'd rather wait for the final release before upgrading anyway. If the UM hasn't changed then there's no immediate need.

Re: User Manager v4.0 test package

Is the UM v4.0 in 5rc1 newer than the packages at the beginning of this thread?

I'm seeing usage stats issues on the users page. On refresh of the this list the figures sometimes go down. The reports appear to be accurate, however this is issue is clearly a bug.

Thanks,

IP's on Mik VLAN - switch feature for ext VLAN

Hi community, I've setup a new RB1100 to act as a managed switch and it appears to be handling the VLAN's correctly, however when I add a VLAN to one of the interfaces on the Mik, I cannot ping the IP on the VLAN on the Mik but I can ping IP's on the same subnet on either side of the Mik. The config...

Hi Chris, Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. Mikrotik has the built-in feature of accepting a disconnect signal from the radius server.
