hey just read ur posts. i m facing the same prob i've installed APs after every 100 meters clients can connect through these access points but i m unable to ping these devices untill or unless some one is conected or logged in via these devices.... i ve added filter rules as u have shown but still i...

or add more APs a small coverage area will work definitly better as client devices will be able to see each other

WMM is not related to hidden node it just sets the priorities for differnt traffic
i m also fighting with this hidden node issue

use following

on AP cts to self, threshold=0
on clients rts/cts threshold=32

the only solution for me to this problem is to shift to TDMA

this was a gud discussion ur problem is HIDDEN NODE n u cant do anything about it untill u shift to tdma. some of your clients cant see each other so if they start transmission together collisions will occur at ur AP (ur AP can listen to one client at a time) here are some suggestions -ur AP can see...

i think you are trying to say that you want to create a WLAN with three wlans!!!!!
it is possible just add the interfaces in the bridge. i would suggest you to go through this first

it depends upon u. whatever suits you. More preferably u should use pppoe if you are an ISP.
i dint get your second question clearly
with three WLAN cards you can create three different wireless lans just use different channels so they dnt interfere with each other

I m using RB433 with version 5.0 beta. i think it has something to do with beta version.

Can i go back to the original OS in router board?
