I have large BGP deployment and all based on ROS 6 and bgp-med in output is the discriminator.
I have tried ROS last version 7.12.1 I confirm it continue to not work.

to me is abnormal that it does not work.

Did u try 6.19 with mcs 12 ?

I use to run from 2 years the mcs fixed at 10 and 12 on 40 km link. 100% ccq. 120 Mb peack.
I want to change it with AC board, but 6.19 seems changed the way to set the fixed mcs rate.

I noted 6.19 has changed mcs ht user interface in winbox on AC devices when I set fixed data rate.
Could you kindly address me how new User Interface works?
Before was with check box and able to set single mcs rate, now is a drop down box showin from 0-9, 0-8, 0-7.

I want to double check that session is recorded into Radius and alive into NAS.
I have done with success for ppp but for hotspot it return an ID which is not the session ID recorded by freeradius into radacct table.

I have found the same challange.
I have seen no one answered btw.

I'm thinking
subnet with private ip for each interface
each interface with own dhcp server
each interface in a single bridge
bridge filter to block traffic from each interface (needed to separate each dhcp)
on ip public on bridge.

have you tried to disable allow hardware fast path from ip settings?
it is now since 2 days and seems no port disconnect issue as also no kernel panic.
lcd is disabled too.
traffic avg is 100Mb all day

thanks before our 2xquad Xeon showed the same issue too when we moved to 6.xx before the OSPF was perfect and never had issues. we noted too that sometime it remain in unknow status without any ip connectivity only reboot solved it. we just replaced it with CCR.... we will see, I know Mik team will ...

The same test with route instead of bridge show 20 Mbit for each miniPCI, 5Ghz +2.4Ghz and also 2.4+2.4 a part that you have to use non overlapping channels.

Is there some one that has encountered the problem changing the MAC address of the Wireless interface? I mean you have wireless interface as AP with original MAC address. If I change this MAC address the ack parameter disappear from winbox and all clients have slow connectivity.

I confirm that using the router is better than bridge.
The high ping phenomena occour less, but it still present and only in a card (CM9). The other card is CM) too. the channel used are 1 and 10.

I'm the dubt that with the mixing of NMP5354 and CM9 the RB :? ... has problem. Is there some one that have tested only CM9 or only NMP5354 on a single RB?

have you tried to insert a firewall rule that drop invalid connection, accept related and valid? instead of accept all?

I understood the issue

From the routerboard manual the max total power consumption is 14 W comprensive of mPCI cards.

Your 48V / 0.6A provide 28W (P=V*I).
It is double of what you need.

I suggest to use 48V POE.
I planned to use it for my new network based on RB.

I have many dubt on limiti connection per user.
Is this rule limit new connection opened at the same time? or total?
I tried to open a p2p on a client and his statistic shows 400 connection while on the mk the limit was set to 50.

I think one big difference is that PPPOE connection is encripted and Hotspot not. (Cmit correct me if I'm wrong).
