I wouldn't touch the CCR2004 for anything important, All ours have crashed multiple times with no warning or reason why.

Are you using the same internal AS in the peer configuration or different?

In this situation we normally use a Route Reflector to manage the routes seen on each border router and do without the session between them. Secondly under your peer status is it showing removed routes being learnt?

It's possible that this issue may be Kernel level and the only way to fix that could be v7 with the updated kernel. This may be why they've done nothing about it to date - because they can't on the current kernel.

Well Christmas has come and gone for another year, my money is still on MUM Europe.

Even if it was realised then I would not put it into product for another 6 months until we've tested it heavily as the key features we're looking to have improved are BGP Performance, True Isolated VRF's and ipv6.

In addition the loss appears to occur around the same time BGP updates.

Every time there is a Drop I execute "/log print where message~"WithdrawnR"" from terminal and there is a update +/- 1 second of the drop.

Ok thanks - We seem to have another issue now where because we hold a full BGP table on our edge routers we filter only the default to other routers whcih is stopping MPLS from working.

Extension of dhcp lease time to 1-3 days and group key update interval to 1hour usually helps.
I've read the post but why would this cause an instant auth failure and a simple setting change allow it to reconnect?

The wholesale provider did do this today and set the Ntu port to 10mbps full and we saw the upstream come up to a consistent 5mbps but still not the 10mbps

Yes it does however this was the first thing we checked as the services are ordered as the Ntu interface set to 100 full duplex. We tested and with the interface set to auto it is worse.

So after all this time the link is still running at -51 both chains 100% ccq and 300/300 yet a single TCP session can only do 50mbps. Have tried routing, bridging and tunnels and all the same result.

I appear to be having the exact same problem. Link are very unstable with NStream we used ot get 15mbps on the links all day every day now we struggle to get 5mbps and normally if we load the links up they constantly disconnect.

Didn't get out there last night to change to the other radio, we hope to do it tonight. Hi,

No lightning protection just a short pigtail to the antenna. Antenna is mounted 150mtrs up a tower so its hard to get to to change we will see how our backup radio goes this afternoon.

Yea its seems the other mikrotik units can't pick them up on 10 and 5mhz, but all my Ubiquiti gear can see and connect just fine to the N cards on 5 & 10mhz

Hi,

No bridging, I was using it bridged with a public ip to test the network but now just trying to use NAT. The unit itself can get on the internet etc without any troubles.

It is the only NAT rule.

Does yours show up on 10mhz and 5mhz?

When I do a scan from the remote side it doesnt appear but as soon as I switch it back to 20mhz shows up straight away.

I have tried the R52N on 5mhz & 10Mhz and my client unit couldn't see the radio :S Both sides Rb433AH with a R52N & Xr5

Its weird because my Ubiquiti Bullet 5 shows up the AP with no problems on 5 & 10 Mhz but the unit with the XR5 doesnt :S

Depends onthe time of day, at night they stay pretty much the same, during the day they can go down to 30 - 40% but can still pass the same data rate 3mbps /3mbps as at night.
