Using wine absolutely sucks for a service. Has anyone posted a definitive guide to running dude as a service on Linux?

When I tried to arrange my Dude windows today, they have become unconfigurable. There is only one window and I can not insert another.

It can be done by checking the response from a web service such as http://www.whatismyip.com but I haven't worked out how to do this on RouterOS. There's nothing magic about it.
