Re: Firewall Builder support for MikroTik

Hi Nejc,

I know this is an old thread, but couldnt find anything updated. Did you ever make the port for Firewall Builder?

Thanks!
Unfortunately, no. But please let me know, if you find anything like that.

Thanks,
Nejc

Firewall Builder support for MikroTik

Hi,

I am thinking about implementing a patch, which would make the Linux version of Firewall Builder compatible with MikroTik devices. How many of you are interested for such a patch? Would you be prepared to buy it (licensed under non-distributable license), for say $50?

Thanks,
Nejc

SSTP: recvd too small packet

Hi, I have a RB433A device with RouterOS 5.11. I have been running SSTP (with RADIUS auth) successfully for a while now, everything was OK until recently, when my wife (we both have Windows 7) could not establish SSTP VPN any more. She would get the error, shown in this screenshot: Capture2.PNG On R...

L2TP/IPsec server behind NAT

Dear community, I have a RouterOS (x86, but have tried with RB750G as well) behind a NAT device (I tried Check Point firewall and another MikroTik with masquerading). I configured L2TP with IPsec and the IPsec SAs get established seamlessly. However, the L2TP tunnel doesn't get established. Here is ...

Re: CRLs/OCSP?

I also think it should be there. CRLs are very important for us since we revoke significant number of certificates. MikroTik, what do yo think?

Thanks,

Re: SSTP & IPv6

Currently you can't connect to the router using IPv6 address. This feature will be added in future versions. Can you provide us with some kind of time frame for that? Currently I am stuck in a IPv6-only network and it would be really helpful, if I could SSTP VPN to my infrastructure over IPv6. Than...

Large reference projects?

Hi, in my city there will be a tender for a big (500 access points in the first phase) wireless network project (metro wifi). As far as I know only Cisco and some other vendor have been considered until now. This is why I am wondering what are the largest MikroTik wifi setups? How many access points...

RouterOS as a DDoS prevention device

Dear users, I have a potential customer who is constantly under a DDoS attack from various countries. Currently they have an ASA 5000 series in front of their infrastructure, but they would like to throw the majority of DDoS packets away before it gets to the main firewall. Also, ASA only does packe...

I have a star-topology network with a central RB433AH and 5 RB433As connected to it via OpenVPN. I need a stable and robust VPN connection from all the satellite locations to the central location.
