If you need switch functionality, we have much lower cost device, the CRS series. Switching is wire speed, you don't need powerful Tilera CPU to do this.

I think that mikrotik need to look for a solution because the PPPoE interfaces are dynamics and don't need to be exported. COA messages are not supported by PPPoE at MikroTik RouterOS.
Only DM messages are supported for PPPoE.

We have no plans to make COA in near future.
Why not if you have it on hotspot??? I think that is not a very difficult job and a very usefull ressource for us.

Sorry but make a mistake. The attribute Mikrotik-Rate-Limit is not sent to the Mikrotik, just the attributes WISPr-Bandwidth-* are sento to the mikrotik, but the bandwidth is not controled.

What type of queue are you using?

I'm with problems when I use pfifo or bfifo. I try to use red today and I think that the problem was solved with this type of queue. But I want to know why can I use pfifo and bfifo?

I'm not sure, but I think that with this simples queue you can't be able to control de upload bandwidth because you specified the destination address instead of target address.

I block all customers to get access to the AP using the Access list. I just allow one machine to associate to the AP and the problem persists just with a machine registrared.
Why does it occour??? The pps on this situation is about 10pps.

But connection limit works only with TCP protocol... I can't setup it with udp connections!

Hi Normis, There aren't problem to slow the P2P traffic (not very much). What's happen is if I don't put the rule to limmit the p2p sotware I've slowness in the tower for all services p2p, http, ftp, ping, etc If I don't put the rule on mikrotik the ping average up to about 300ms with a bit of packe...
