I did a network scan with Zenmap and one router has port 1723 open !
1723/tcp open pptp
How can i check what is using this port, there is a disabled EoIP tunnel used for remote assistance!
Maybe I should rephrase the obstacles - a planted forest of tree's! So I really stihl have issues that are getting bigger by the day!German solution, if you stihl have problems after this solution one is beyond help!

"Literacy" - I don't know what " How bout." is ?Suggesting the title of this thread is Very misleading and should be changed.
How bout.
n21roadie Literacy - What a Disappointment! ;-)
All the Clients have wireless-protocol=nv2-nstreme-802.11 and still no wireless registration?wireless-protocol=nv2
Client side should have this set to
This will allow client to follow changes on AP side.Code: Select allwireless-protocol=nv2-nstreme-802.11
Can I ask how are so sure that this device "will work like it is announced..."When the Airfiber is available and it will work like it is announced, we don't need Mikrotik.......
Just curious have you used UBNt AF5x HD ?Possible, speed depends on your allowed EIRP.
in the EU with 30/36dBm max it would be hard to get this speed with 802.11 Hardware.
If your Budget allowes it, I would go with UBNt AF5x HD
Deliver higher speed using how much bandwidth (80-160MHz?)We have a lot of Mikrotik CPE out there, but in last 6 month we realized how competitors are able to deliver higher speeds, Mikrotik is outdated, I don’t believe that we came back to Mikrotik
If any vendor had a wireless product designed especially to function perfectly in a increasing noisy environment, everyone would know very fast?I have the some problem.... witch brand works now Mistry7?
Just curious I have mine set to 2ms ! and have you any more information on "Hardware driver/chipset/clock problem."@ 2jarek
6.43 Works only for TDMA period size 1ms. Try 3-5ms = disaster. Hardware driver/chipset/clock problem.
You appear to running Nstreme have you tried NV2 and check if you also have reduced signal level.YesWow - there is a big difference in signal levels between those versions ?
@ hapi Sorry for this but those very high signals ( -22,......) could be overloading wireless input stages and it appears in this situation that 802.11 is more tolerant than NV2?NV2 is still very bad.
802.11:
nv2 2ms dynamic:
Can you say how much the difference is after switchover ?As much as I love using mikrotik for routing and client CPEs (easy to check for issues, etc), they make horrible backbone links. We've been slowly switching over to Airfiber (5Ghz) from Netmetals. Difference is very noticeable.
How much lower? After updating AP (921GS-5HPacD r2) to 6.41.3, the signal strenght has been lowered in some clients (in 6.38 and 6.34 everything was okay).
Clients - SXT 5nD r2(6.38) and SXT Lite 5(6.38). Someone encountered this problem?
Does 802.11 use 6Mbit for Management Protocolnv2 will always use 6Mbit data rate for protocol communication.
Not really working perfectly for me when using Ubuntu 17:10 Wine, winbox works perfectly in linux with wine. Years using it.....
Over water can have additional issues with reflection(s) causing signal variation, i would check that this will not be an issue before purchasing expensive links?Almost 9 miles.Haven't tested Dynadish 6 but what distances for PTP's?
99% of the shot is over water.
Excellent many thanks,place-before=7
OK - I suppose U it's a 8 letter word ending in "i"This is a MT forum. So I do not want to educate . It is not LTE.What LTU gear ?
nv2 will always use 6Mbit data rate for protocol communication.
It's really bad news for any site that has AP's with high (!) backside signals, we very quickly replaced them with the excellent RF Elements sectors which have "Backshield" for reduced..............................
and some even radiates to backside.)
Can someone explain the financial logic of moving away from customers (WISP's) who volume purchase?Yeah disappointing
I sayed It some years ago Mikrotik change focus from WISP Wireless to Home Wireless and Enterprise Routing
It's a pity that so many vendors deliberately mislabel their equipment as "Professional" ?Yes , it is possible if you use a duplexer and additional bandpass filters .In fact the same setup is also used in the professional equipment .
Strange I believe other providers using the same chipsets are getting much better throughput performance using a much simpler OSMaybe Mikrotik should ask Qualcomm to implement hardware btest for Mikrotik
And why not hardware accelerator for Winbox.
I my opinion its not the CPU's used in Mikrotik equipment that is the limiting factor but the fact almost everything ROS does it's software based and this puts huge demand on any CPU?Or test between 2xCCR, not 912...
I wouldn't use a DC converter because of inverter efficency which maybe 85-90%, much easier and more power efficient is to put second 12v battery in series for 24v.use 24V.
If you need to power from 12v battery, use a 12V->24V DC DC adapter.
Is it really a good idea using 6Mbps rate only for protocol communication in any high speed wireless connection.nv2 will always use 6Mbit data rate for protocol communication.
Even doing a speedtest, 6Mbps is still present ?Is any traffic going on that link? A low band will always be used when there is not much traffic on a link.
What do you mean "not related to Dude" when it only occurs when trying to maximize a winbox session window that was opened within Dude? This error is not related to dude. Just the winbox sometimes forgets to load the session correctly.
I tried adding :local mikrotikexport "$sub1 mt_export_backup" but handling error still occurs!6.40.1: error handling file while sending mikrotik backup file via GMAIL smtp.
Fixed it by
:local backupfile "$sub1 mt_config_backup.backup"
