Is there a way we can restrict the Active user sessions in Hotspot?

Eg.
- If we have 100 connected hosts to mikrotik
- If we set active users to 10 , then only 10 active users are allowed to login out of 100 connected hosts at any given time.

Thank you for your reply Sinan!

We have added a script already which monitors number of active sessions.

Our concern is how will the user know why he/she is not allowed to login.

Looking out for a way to show some message or redirect user to a url where we can display prefabricated messages.

Well I tried a way out on a 450G model.

A flashfig got me the configurations removed and the files were safe.

It did worked. So if somebody can just help me to know if it will work with X86 (PC) or not?

No I am not aware hot to reset on X.86

also I am using L-6 license and there are lot of Backup and configuration files on disk which I cant afford to lose.

Is there a way I can use Serial port to change any configurations before Booting?

We just want to authenticate registered users to connect to wireless network.

Just a replacement of setting up access list on each AP,

No accounting, no billing, just wireless authentication!

Can User Manager handle 5000 concurrent sessions.
