I´m working with a GARMIN GPS18X PC with serial connection. Others model of Garmin cann´t comunicate with Mikrotik because they have his own protocol.

If you want to use a GPS with Mikrotik you need to check that the GPS use NMEA 0183 protocol.

Got two in today... Works GREAT !! Connected A Sprint card, USB drive and GPS module , and all are happy.. In my country you can find up to 500 WISPs with Mikrotik technology....

For example in a small city with 30k people, you can find 3 WISPs with Mikrotik...

I suggest you to make Mesh with SR5 or XR5 and you can use NL2511 as APs... so you can make Mesh in 5.8 and distribution in 2.4

You will have more speed ....
