Yes, there is no need to pass outgoing traffic via CAPMan.
Just set different/proper GW in the DHCP configuration and voilà ... Internet traffic passes by CHR.

But to make this a real benefit, you also have to make sure that each connection keeps using the WAN through which it has been established even if the WAN which it would have chosen normally becomes available again. I'm using 208.67.222.222 (opendns) and it opens quickly on mine.

How long does it take to get an answer when you run this in cmd prompt:?

nslookup mail.yahoo.com 1.1.1.1 (replace the ip with your isp dns server)

It looks like you are indirectly saying that something is wrong with whatever DNS server you are using...
well am using what my ISP gave to me and is only yahoo site that takes time to load(very slow). but with my new static DNS entry, the performance is now better.

You can change the port for the router www service to a port besides 80. This worked for me.

Then to access the router

Since I can now see that, double click on the route with a destination of 0.0.0.0 and instead of 216.226.64.245 put in the internal IP address of the Untangle server (presumably 192.168.2.1).

The manual contains an example setup that walks through the entire configuration - just replace your interface names and IP addresses.
