Re: How to make such an address translation with RouterOS?

Replace only src-nat rule, leave your dst-nat rule intact (i.e. use these rules): ip fire nat add chain=dst dst-addr=11.11.11.11 proto=tcp dst-port=10001 action=dst-nat to-addr=192.168.1.201 to-port=4899 ip fire nat add chain=src dst-addr=192.168.1.201 proto=tcp dst-port=4899 action=src-nat to-addr...

Re: How to make such an address translation with RouterOS?

This is not Cisco ;) Rewrite source NAT rule as follows
ip fire nat add chain=src dst-addr=192.168.1.201 proto=tcp dst-port=4899 action=src-nat to-addr=192.168.1.1
Rewrite? Which one?

Your rule will replace source address only. And I need to replace BOTH source and destination addresses

How to make such an address translation with RouterOS?

Hello! One om ny clients wants to use RouterOS instead of some D-Link DFL firewall/router and having need in its SAT translation mechanism. How to make RouterOS to replace both source and destination addresses when translating a packet from public to internal network? The example: I connect from int...

Re: SNMP problem after 5.2 upgrade

The problem has a solution? I did upgrade to 5.4 today and I still have incomplete data collections of simple queues. What it is necessary to provide support? Did you wrote to MikroTik support team? :) Send them the description of your problem and attach the supout.rif file made just before you sen...

Re: RB 750 and upgrade problem

Before RouterOS upgrade you should update the bootloader - type /system routerboard upgrade in the Winbox terminal window or telnet session, then press Y and restart the device. Possibly, you've bricked your routers because of an old bootloader...

Anybody here? Any support? :)

Re: SNMP problem after 5.2 upgrade

I've got the problem that the SNMP OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.1.4.0 (mtxrWlRtabEntryCount) does not return what it intended for - it tells me that I have 0 registration table entries, while there are 6 clients registered there. It began when I upgraded my RB600's RouterOS from 4.16 to 5.2. Rolling it...

Re: RouterBoard USB port not active?

Indeed, the RB411UAH and RB411UAHR does not supply power to their USB ports. But RB411U does ;)

Re: Reset button on RB750

There is no need to open RB750's case - the discussed reset hole can be found under one of rubber feet on the down side of the device.

Re: RouterBoard USB port not active?

Possibly, 3.3 volts will be enough to discover a new connection - there are just some resistors in UPS powered from the USB.
But to make it correct please read my previous message and decide what circuit to build.

Re: RouterBoard USB port not active?

"Default" is incorrect word - the USB power is hard routed at the PCB of the RB433 device, and the power convertor is implied there too and cannot be turned on or off in any way. The first and easiest way for you is to get the USB power injector and external power supply to power up the US...

Re: RouterBoard USB port not active?

Every USB device essentially needs the bus power - to initiate the bus enumeration process correctly. The RB433UAH supplies power to the USB port by default, while RB411UAHR and RB493 doesn't.

SwOS version is 1.2, but that's not a matter - the same was seen with SwOS v1.0. Only the 1st port is affected

Some connection trouble with RB250

We purchased some RB250 switches, installed a couple of them to our clients. But recently we've tried to connect to another RB250 and found, that its first port could not establish connection with an RB411 device at 100FD FastEthernet speed. The only way to get it connected through 1st port is to fo...

Re: BUG: RouterOS v4.6 on RB750 drops frames with certain MAC

You can workaround this problem by adding static arp [admin@N3] > ip arp print where interface=vlan66 Flags: X - disabled, I - invalid, H - DHCP, D - dynamic # ADDRESS MAC-ADDRESS INTERFACE 6 y.y.y.y 00:00:5E:00:01:02 vlan66 It didn't work for me - the affected computers still couldn't neither ping...

BUG: RouterOS v4.6 on RB750 drops frames with certain MAC

Recently has installed the RouterOS v4.6 on my RB750. After reboot I noticed, that one of my computers is unable to connect to RB750 (neither with winbox, nor with telnet, pinging doesn't work too - the MAC-address of RB750 doesn't resolve with ARP). After doing some experiments I stated, that any c...

That was asked long time ago and declined. Mikrotik stuff does not have understanding for our needs to be able to use mnemonic addresses instead of IP.

Pity... Well, we should use our scripting solutions then...

Re: v4.0 Feature Request(s)

My feature request: sometimes the symbolic name of the PPTP-server is needed to connect to ISP, but the RouterOS asks the IP address only. If MikroTik were make it possible to use symbolic names as the PPTP-server address, there would be a great leap for them in Russia.
