Re: 6.23 released!

I am running 3.19 Firmware and 6.23OS... SSID will stop broadcasting. RB will respond, what debugging can be done to track this down? I do not see resources that would explain it, I do not see anything in debugging that sticks out... It will stop SSID until a reboot. I can soft reboot and will work ...

Re: 6.23 released!

I would like to try the suggestion that Uldis gave. http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=91204&start=100#p457454 However, I cannot locate 3.19 anywhere... I need a link to 3.19 mipsbe upgrade, it is not found on the site anywhere (have looked). METAL 2SHPN 6.23 still stops broadcast...

Re: 6.22 released!

Have 2SHPn as well. All the sudden the past two versions and even RC23 are all causing SSID not to be broadcasted or allow attaching UNTIL REBOOT... This is happening now very very very often... Had to ROLL BACK TO LAST V.5 to gain stability of SSID/RADIO broadcasting.. 2SHPn IS NOT FIXED, STILL LOO...

OpenVpn Client TLS

I do not see an example anywhere of OpenVpn Client TLS configs. This is my .opvn client dev tun proto udp route-delay 10 comp-lzo no tls-auth ta.key 1 sndbuf 131072 rcvbuf 131072 # Server List # This list does not include Hong Kong and Sweden as those locations have limited bandwidth and should only...

Re: WebProxy with Two Different DNS based on Src. Address-List

When you are proxying the proxy takes the clients connection and terminates it on itself, fetches the content on behalf of the client (but the source IP address for the connection is the router itself), and then sends the result back to the client. Thus, the source IP address for the connection isn...

WebProxy with Two Different DNS based on Src. Address-List

I have spent many hours trying to setup this with web proxy server and without success; if I setup without web-proxy (transparent) and just just dst-nat with src address-list; it works perfectly however, I would like to run a transparent web-proxy for all http and yet maintain that the respective us...

Re: NAT with Masquerading Question

I found my own issue.... I first setup a HotSpot and could not use it due to the re-write on packets; etc... Look for my other post on TWO DNS servers for Adult or Child... OpenDNS and Un-Filtered DNS... Anyways, the rules that were put in did not get removed when HotSpot was deleted..... [admin@RBS...

NAT with Masquerading Question

I have seen the example: http://www.mikrotik.com/documentation/manual_2.4/IP/NAT.html#ip_nat_example2 and shows to use the forward chain to put in the IP address and port that you wish to forward through to your local nat'd host... But when I try to forward any port to a local host, it is unreachabl...

Re: Newbie Question - RB450G - Hotspot Question

Same happens, I can see the address-list filled, see packets being counted via the appropriate rule, all dns requests are still being answered by the Hotspot itself

Re: Newbie Question - RB450G - Hotspot Question

yes, the address-list is populated with "child or adult" entries.. I see the rules with packets being counted.. The weird issues is that I have both the rules pointing towards different DNS servers.. The user is getting the system default response.. it is like the rule is 1. being ignored ...

Re: Newbie Question - RB450G - Hotspot Question

Okay, update... All packets are being sent according to the "list" they are in... Child or Adult.... However, the correct DNS server is not being requested of.. Meaning... From profile 1, with adult list does go through the rule that matches.. However, the user is getting the default DNS s...

Re: Newbie Question - RB450G - Hotspot Question

Use that to write mangle rules that mark DNS packets accordingly and dst-nat them to the desired DNS servers. Could someone give me an example of how to write the Mangled rule to send them to dst-nat to the DNS server.. I have no idea of how to customize rules in the firewall.. I will take time to ...

Newbie Question - RB450G - Hotspot Question

Thank you for your assistance in advance; I have read the Hotspot documentation and have tried to find the answer on my own before posting. I have the 450G setup as a bandwidth shaper and for this purpose it is working great however, I need to use two different DNS servers for different user profile...
