Cachemara is a waste of money try thundercache on a high-end server and u'll see the difference in web response, faster updates and an overall higher bandwidth saving touching 55-75% at peaktime I have 3 customers ditching cachemara to thundercache this year.

To prevent arp attacks on your network try ARPon website:http://arpon.sourceforge.net/,
otherwise you have to buy cisco catalyst at least 4500 series with these kind of protections.

Hi,

You need to make your squid ready to interecpt packets sent from mk so u just need to edit your squid.conf file which should be in this dir on centos /usr/local/squid/etc and add the word "transparent" after "http_port 3128" then reconfigure squid or restart it, best regards

Re: Arp Spoofer

The easy solution with mikrotik will be creating a PPPOE server and serving ur clients with ppp username and password, this way you not have to sit and monitor the garbage on ur LAN coz simply there will be nothing to sniff, you can also uncheck TCP/IP on Client XP PCs,this way u'll have a totally c...

Re: Self Interference - Help!

If roaming is not one of your services you should go directly to changing your ssids, in your scenario a client may associate and disassociate from an AP (each wireless interface) to another if they are in the same area while base stations which are far from each other you want face this problem.
