CPU down clock will not reduce power usage significantly, as that CPU is using ~1W at whatever frequency you are running it. As other have mentioned - you can use 24V battery at the router. So it is supplied with stable 24V or use higher voltage power supply to power it up (28V is at the upper boun...

Re: v5.14 released - DHCP-Client issue

Have any1 else encountered a DNS problem with new Clients running 5.13 or 5.14 on the local network. I have clients with the Wlan1 in station/NAT and then have a local network and DHCP-server on ether1. Client gets its public IP- via a DHCP-client on Wlan1, from our DHCP-server in the ISP network, t...

Re: RouterOS 5.5 Released

Hi folks, just wondering if any1 else has noticed CPU rise on RB333 or others after upgrading to 5.5? I have several rb333 and some seem to double their cpu use after upgrade, and on others I see no change. Also noticed Bandwith test seem to "hang" a bit before displaying in 5.5, any1 else...

Re: Simple Click On WALL MOUNT for the Great SXT ! ?

Thx, for the picture hapi, illustrates well what I meant! :) Is there any chance that MT will make such an option with Wall mounting kit? Could someone from MT give us a hint? Normis? ;) I have to buy the separate wallmount now for about +/- 8-10$, and it doesn't look good! I would gladly pay about ...

Simple Click On WALL MOUNT for the Great SXT ! ?

Hi, I have been using several SXTs latly as CPE for my clients, and they are impressingly powerfull considering their relativly small size and Gain. But excactly this feature, small antenna with BIG power makes them so nice as CPE, since customers tend to get scared of big badlooking antennas and mo...
