Re: IP cloud DDNS doesn't work after upgrade RouterOS

Hi, I have similar problem, although in my case it's mostly because I changed my RouterBoard. I used RB951Ui-2HnD before, and because I need better performance, I upgraded it to RB450Gx4. To avoid hassle, I backed up my old RouterBoard, and then restored it to my new RouterBoard, but the problem is...

Re: Feature Request: IPv6 Hotspot support

I have similar request with this, but I proposed another approach which in my opinion should be doable in Mikrotik. Since IPv6 NAT is not possible and there's already an IPv6 firewall filter, why don't you make it so it would block all IPv6 traffic in a hotspot interface, until the user log in via I...

Re: [Feature request] /ip firewall protocol-port-list

however you can list several ports in one rule. or even set up port range.
On the other hand, you can also set several ip addresses or range in one rule, but I prefer to use address list, because it's easier to read and manage.

[Feature request] /ip firewall protocol-port-list

Dear Mikrotik developers, In routeros, there had always been /ip firewall address-list, It helped me simplify many rules. However, I've been thinking, why wouldn't there be /ip firewall port-list, or even better /ip firewall protocol-port-list. IMHO, it shouldn't be too hard to program, but the effe...

Re: CoA in userman 5.12 to change rate-limit

Well, it's quite possible when using external RADIUS server (although I haven't tried it myself), but most of my clients won't bother to buy extra hardware (PC) which should always on, when they only want simple hotspot captive for a few clients, so I'm asking for possibility to CoA using internal U...

CoA in userman 5.12 to change rate-limit

Hi, I'm using User Manager 5.12, and I want to change rate-limit on the fly at specific time. By using profiles and limitations, I set rate-limit for specific time range, for example 00:00:00-05:59:59 I assign 512k/512k rate-limit, and 06:00:00-23:59:59 I assign 256k/256k. The problem is when someon...
