Re: v6.15 released

Its something weird with rogue dhcp alert. I have ros 6.7 at 2011iL, my dhcp server is connected to ether1, dhcp alerts are enable at ether2 to 10 and everything is ok. After upgrade to 6.15 all ports (ether2-10) see my dhcp server from port 1. So i downgrade to 6.7 and everything is working normally.

Re: Cant bridge IPX traffic (novell)

You set default-forwarding=no on wireless interface.
The default is yes on all version of RouterOS, is your fault.
It has to be like that, i dont need it because i have wireless client added to access list.

Its not my network, it has to be on pure IPX.

Re: Inter VLAN Routing on RB750GL, RB2011iLS-IN and CRS125-2

What bugs do you mean for the CRS?

Also what should be noted that the CRS is mainly a switch, with routing capability. if you intend to use it as a router only, it is not very powerful. For just routing purposes we have other devices.
But for simple router is ok?

I also think its dead but there is one thing. You have to understand that rb250gs is low-cost Gb managed switch so it doesnt fit to core net. I have about 100+ rb250gs and they are very good but only on the end of the network or in small networks. So conclusion is you dont need newer fw, 1.6 is good.

TCP/UDP port filter? (feature request)

Hi.
Is there any chance to add tcp/udp filtering? I would like to deny traffic to ports: 135-139 and 445 (windows viruses).
Thanks in advance.

Login window (need little fix)

Hi. I would like you to fix two things. When you try to login to switch you have to put your password and username and its ok but in background you can see web interface from switch (I attached screenshot). Its not good to me because everybody see what kind of device it is. And second thing is name ...

Re: experiences with RB250GS

I have about 30-40, some of them are switching heavy traffic and everything is ok.
Few doesnt have ups (sadly no place for them) and they never hang on ( in my city voltage drops is normal thing).
IMO only one thing is annoying: http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=44971

Re: R52n and CCQ issue

each chain has to be a different polarization
I did that and now I have Tx/Rx signal -55/-56 dBm and CCQ 90/95%, transmission is 100Mb/s full duplex.

Thanks for advice, it solved my problem.

To clarify you need to select FW file and press upgrade to downgrade. Have you tested with another PC? I did some research. You have right, I dont know why but on other PC reboot with fw 1.4 is working. Diffrent is: - at one pc when I click "reboot": first is message "rebooting"...

What exactly happens when you try to reboot switch? What is your network topology between switch and management device? Reboot is working perfectly fine for me. Switch is on my table, connected directly to pc. I tried IE and FF and I cant downgrade 1.4 to 1.2 remotly. When I "click" reboo...

This is v1.2 problem not v1.4 problem. Try upgrading from different PC/OS/browser.

Remote upgrade from 1.2 to 1.4 is impossible.
For me its a bug, its look like switch after "reboot" doesnt make power cycle (1.4 has that same problem).
