You are welcome. Can make request?: Make changelog downloadable, it's primary function is documentation replacement ...petrn - Thank you for link to tracker. We simply did forget to turn it off. Now it is done.
@Mikrotik any update ?
I wonder where is documentation for this, can Mikrotik enlighten me?Since recent versions, I think you need to use "any", i.e.Code: Select allfind where any comment
What's new in 5.12 (2012-Jan-19 14:31):
...
*) console - added support for compact export;
...
Interesting - i used 5.24, and yes 5.22 behaviour is different. What version of RouterOS are you using? I was using 5.22 for the tests above...
I guess that ping is not a main function of clientB, and BTW you enable ping in firewall settings and have firewall on.But when firewalls is off or disabled, maybe will happen security problems.
Perhaps firewall in ClientB is blocking ICMP ....
Well, troubleshooting 101:now clientA could ping 192.168.1.1 & 192.168.10.1 & 192.168.10.2 & 192.168.2.1
but could not ping 192.168.2.254 (request timed out)
why??
if you say so ...My laptop is using Norton internet security and Windows 8 so I m pretty much sure I could not have a virus on my laptop.
What about to run "Torch" on "ether1" to see what traffic is there.Could anyone please help to sort this out as I am clueless

What about automatically locking topic after let say 6 months of inactivity?Thank for bringing up a thread more than a year old.
Activity is 15.97 and 15.17 hours of inactivity/silence.What could this activity be??
add chain=forward connection-state=invalid action=drop
Without RTC chip pretty useless, and for devices supposedly 24/7 powered up for many years like mine RB133c just a headache with more contacts. That should go in as a feature request.
Mikrotik please add a battery like a cr2302 battery.
Chupaka ask about behavior after reaching lowest IP from pool. Not about first allocation.Yes I am currently using v5.5 and the reversing is still there !
what failover has to do with load balancing?Very Simple! Does this example do load balancing?
its 2x2 MIMO with chain 1 off on both sides ..., what is unclear in this?even i thought i had to be SISO but then why Mikrotik has been advertising it as 1x1 MIMO?
Can we have some explanation on the 1x1 MIMO concept?
-sid
well preciselly it should be RB711 - Supports 1x1 SISO, ref. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIMO. But can you imagine number of questions in this forum about this "new" technology?hi.
RB711 - Supports 1x1 MIMO
How can 1x1 be a MIMO??

Have you considered roll back to previous version at least on some affected units? I mean version before disconnect problem appeared. If ESD is the culprit, I'll guess I have to live with it.
urbinek has gigabit already :-) (RB750G)As little bonus, you will have Gbit ports :) instead of FastEthernet 100Mbps that are currently sported by RB750.
Slot is on other side, you can see that in User Guide : rb450GugA.pdf http://routerboard.com/RB450Ghi, thx for you answer, but i can't found memory slot on this board :
/ip address disable [find address="192.168.88.1/24"]
most likely this Great Wall firewall ...Why do you need connection tracking at all on a core router? Maybe my definition of a core router is different.
brute-force (more accurately brute-scheduler) solution :-DMake 7 schedulers, one for Monday with frequency set to 7 days, another one for Tuesday with frequency set to 7 days, and so on.
Apple approach - they think you don't need it :-)Welcome to ROS! MT have stated many times that they wont release complete changlogs as they think it's impossible despite every other vendor managing to do so
It will run exactly as scheduled, in -41.5 years.Hello, there is still a problem:
The script didn't run on the schedule, here is a screenshot:\
Thanks for ur help//
rest of routing table is hidden, i think problem is in scope/target scope and nexthopYes. The screenshot indicated the BGP route is reachable and has a lower AD than the static route, so it should be active.
Email support.
because they are lazy/don't want to search, read, think, try or pay ... or they are actually smart ?
I dont understand why people clamor for solutions when they already exist.
he added wlan1 TX and RX - same way as MT do when they claim RB-SXT 200mbpshow can u add the traffic on ether1 and wlan1 it is incorrect. ur ether1 is only recieving what ur wlan1 is transmitting.New record with SXT 154mbps TCP.
and i doubt yours
now i doubt ur case ;-)
working for me ....not working?
Voltage drop on power wire - you can't beat Ohm's law.Am I missing something blatantly obvious here?
just tried http://www.radiolabs.com/stations/wifi_calc.html, sounds plausible to me...calculate it in wifi calculator. He's lying. Such signals are not real 5 km.
use RB411 and http://en.jirous.com/antenna-5ghz/JC-320 - 20dBi?Yes. But we need cost efficient not low cost. If I'm in need of a 20db CPE I've to
pay the price. It does not help there is a low cost 16db if I need 20db.
you can:I can't pull CPU stats via SNMP on RouterOS 5.5 on the x86 platform.
have look at output of this:It doesn't even show as a supported OID.
If you don't understand logarithmic scale, then don't use it.Hi!
Could you tell me which is the huge difference please?
Thanks

so it's calculated already in price, then version without should be cheaper...funny but most people love that these things are included in the package without any additional charge (compared to other similar products),
Very true, i would expand that to production networks even it makes Normis jump. It's crazy to use 5.x this early as corerouter. We just upgraded one of our
corerouters to 4.17.

Have you been waiting 5 years for solution? I call that patience ... :-)I had to open an another topic, because the previous had been locked (without a solution).
Good question, wrong forum. With information you have given is more less q. for oraculum.I got my main link with a 411 card. Would it be better for me to use a 433?

i think V5 is in Release Candidate stage still, not ready for production, consider yourself "Beta tester"Thank you for MikroTIK failure. Your ignore errors caused the malfunction 60 seconds.
false alarm - built in radius server returns only speed limiting AV pairs, no session uptime limits or transfer limits ..Hi,
I've been testing with v5.3 userman for few hours - seems finally production ready:
"Start at first login" in profiles is fixed, along with some other problems.
