Yeah I see this too, the file fetched is *apparently* not saved to the disk, FTP into the router also shows no fetched file in root dir.

After upgrading to 3.16 x86 the files on the router were gone, but the data is still taking space on the router hard drive as if it is really there

I've been watching this with keen eyes too. Almost our whole customer base is authenticated with PPPoE and have dynamic queues to limit each connection (Usermanager rocks!).

Does release 3.12 solve the dynamic queue issue in the field?

These scripts I mainly got working due to a excelent scripter, qnect. I took his script and rewrote it to my needs with great success.
I too have also adapted those scripts for our setup with excellent success. We have managed to control many aspects of usermanager and ROS etc via scritpting.

I too am having hassles with the :nothing operator in V3 here:

We have a 99% workaround. It requires web proxy package. Redirect all inward port 80 requests to proxy with firewall. Create access rules for deny all and one allow rule with IP of MT and "/um*" as the action. After this, the root page is blocked by proxy and /um* works for the usermanager...

I have found the problem. It seems the AM300 was flakey in half bridge mode, Linksys have released new firmware (1.19.04) that specifically notes a fix for half bridge mode and gateway.

Now that I have upgraded firmware the x.x.x.254 gateway address now passes data.

Ok, this just wont work. Version 3 will not let you add a routing mark that go out a particular interface. Its simply broken. We have rolled back to 2.9.51 (again) because you CAN add route marks prior to leaving on a particular interface in that version. When will this be fixed fo v3? no workaround...

To be safe 24v switched PSU for routerboards. That will guarantee no issues related with power. If using a PoE injector be sure to change board jumpers (some RB"s).

FYI this setup is a transparent bridge no routes.

Actually Forgive Me for not finishing this thread, But we have solved this issue: When using 400mW cards you NEED 24v, anything less and you can have trouble. When powered from 24v everything is great. we had two RB133c's with PoE on 25m of cable. 12v and 18v didn't cut it.

I changed both sides. When I just changed the CPE, the AP pulled higher CCQ, still had the oddball high ping. When I changed both, the link got a lot better. I think your arithmetic is a bit out! An 8 to 9dB gain is around 8x, 1000x = 30dB gain.

I think this can be done with the IP WEB PROXY TEST package. Set the proxy rules to listen for *.rar *.zip etc, then send them down your satellite gateway. You may be able to do this also with Mangle rules and packet/connection marks, but Im not sure on this.

This could indicate an MTU problem, try adjusting the MTU on you EoIP inteface to 1466 or even lower. Hotmail.com is a good place to test if your MTU is screwed, it wont show if its wrong.

You have either "default authenticate" in the card setting, or have the client's mac address listed in the access table for that card.
