like 512k is a pipe line when only one user is online he will use the whole 512k. when the 2nd user goes online the 512k divided into the both user 50%. when the 3rd user goes online the 512k will be share like 33.3%.

Simple NAT + Wan Limit

Hello,

I have simple NAT on Mikrotik Routerboard 450G in my office with 1 wan. we have aerial Fiber 4 MB and there is no bandwidth restriction on any user but our ISP recommended to restrict/limit the wan to 3.9MB.
but how can i do this. HELP

Hello, I have routerboard 4.6 with simple hotspot Local: 192.168.0.1 Wan: 192.168.1.100 recently i have added FTP server in my LOCAL area for clients to download movies etc and the ftp server's ip is 192.168.0.8 when i enter this in my url ftp://192.168.0.8 to open the ftp server but it didnt .........

i was also having this issue and i get resolve it by renaming the interface adapter name like ether1 into Local or Lan (dont rename it like local.... use capital L) ether2 into Wan1 ether3 into Wan3 i dont know what is that but that is the way i mentioned above. or i am putting here my PCC commands ...

right now i have a ups named SALTEC with DB9 connection and it was working with my windows 2008 server and ups uses DB9 straight cable like 1 to 1, 2 to 2, 9 to 9.... may be if i use RS323 cable then it will work ?
