Waited a couple days and used the website with a most recent backup which had the blotched password I couldn't get previously.
So the website does work if you wait a day or to for the backup to get the latest password.

Not sure why this helped, but I flushed the DNS cache and changed the primary DNS server to OpenDNS.
208.67.222.222

Took away 1800 connections right away. Now they're down to something realistic like @ 300 connections.

5.2 is without doubt the best of the rest.
Still problems with Usermanager, but definitely the most stable IMHO.
I am not using any of the wireless functions of the RouterOS.
Simply a hotspot/router/authenticator with UBNT radios.

Here's the fix for the PayPal issue with people unable to make payments. SurferTim created a script to keep the cached papal sites relevant to users requests. It's saved me a lot of lost customers.
