Is there any news regarding SR-IOV support?
I've demo installed a Cloud hosted router in openstack but I can't seem to see my SR-IOV interface?
Has this been cancelled? We would really like to use the CHR as our routing engine in Openstack, however without SR-IOV we can't use it decently.

As far as i can see, mikrotik is Linux kernel based.

Therefor i wonder if mikrotik is impacted by the GnuTLS security library bug that has been circulating the Web? And if so when will a patch be available?

I Think everybody is understanding me wrong. The fact is that i have a core-router which has multiple ip's in the same subnet. When i do a traceroute .. the lowest ip of that router is always returned. I would like this to change this to the ip i want to see. Not the lowest. for ex. traceroute 3.4.5...

What you see are just naming conventions.
You can call them whatever you want .. but they cant be exactly the same .


If this is a new routerboard it's weird that it has these names.

You can make a script that monotors if your isp gateway is reachable and if not disable the vrrp interface untill the gateway is reachable again.

You can do this with winbox by drag and dropping the file in the winbox screen.

have you tried to disable connection tracking for a short period of time?
all connections are then new after you reenable it.

connection tracking is in ip firewall

First of all what do you mean with reset ? Remove the configuration ? Most routerboards have a hole in the bottem of the case where you can push a screwdriver and then the config gets reset. I'm currently configuring 2 mikrotik routers which both have a 1 BGP uplink to 2 different providers.

you need to bridge the tunnel to the port facing the vlans on both mikrotik routers

Thanks but i did thatin my original setup. And i still don't succeeed to get any VLANS over it.
