Providing a public /29 via dhcp

Looking for a bit of help. I have a /29 from the local cable provider that is connected to my router via a wireless bridge. What is the best way to distribute this via dhcp? I have 5 usable IP's since one of them is the gateway ip. I need 3 office suites to get there own public ip via a dhcp lease.

Re: VPLS/MPLS over OpenVPN

I have VPLS tunnels running over VPN connections. Did you set the LDP transport addresses to the addresses of the VPN endpoint? Also the remote peer IP's should be the VPN end point addresses as well.

Re: E1 transfer with wireless

From what I understand you put both your LAN traffic and E1/T1 traffic thru there mux. This allows them to prioritize T1 traffic over the LAN traffic.

Re: E1 transfer with wireless

See the below link from RAD. This product is for use with generic Ethernet radios. All of the traffic priority control is done withing the MUX and not the radio.

Re: 80+ CAMs instalation. Comments are welcome.

let me know how you progress on this. I am adding 2 more nodes and 1 new AP to our system this weekend for another 28 cameras. At the same time we are adding a few rules to carve out a 1mb path from each of the locations to run there card access control system on. The current system is on leased lin...

Re: 80+ CAMs instalation. Comments are welcome.

I have a similar project going on at an airport. We have the cameras broken into zones as you described with 6-10 cameras in a zone. What I did is run fiber from the DVR equipment to the roof top and installed a gigabit switch. Since the traffic was coming from 4 areas of the airport, I had 4 AP's o...

RB2011UAS-RM Speed question

Hi all, I am looking at using a RB2011UAS-RM as an agg switch where I would have one on the roof in an enclosure and another in the building basement. The two 2011's would be interconnected with fiber, both would be configured with the gig ports on the switch chip and no other configurations other t...

SXT questions

Hi all. I just purchased a few new SXT g-5hnd units for testing. I thought all of the new SXT products were going to have a ground screw instead of the loop? Is this old stock or am I missing something? Also, I am looking at a project that has 3 out buildings that I need to install 3 IP cameras in e...

VLAN over SXT

Hi all, I have a bit of an issue that I could use some help with. I have two 750's with a trunk port on each w/ two VLAN's on the trunk. The 750's are configured and running perfectly. I also have a pair of SXT's set up as a bridge {presently WDS} that I have inserted btwn the two 750's to transport...

New wireless network for our property

Hello everyone. I am expanding a small network at a production facility and have a few guidance questions. I have a base network set up in our main office but production and warhousing are requiring both database access and wifi for barcode readers etc. I tested the SXT's this weekend and without an...

Re: solar charge controller without the solar?

I wouldnt mess around with the solar charger. Just buy a power supply / charger that is specifically built for what you want to do. The below link is for a 12/24 volt charger power supply that I use daily. it is rated at 4 amps and will auto change over to battery upon failure. There are also dry co...

Re: RB750GL Strange Problem

is the rb750 plugged directly into the UPS? If so, check to make sure the power receptacle is UPS protected and not just surge protected. A lot of UPS's have two types of outlets one type is UPS protected and the other type is only surge protected. As stated above, it is possible the power supply do...

Re: Access IP camera

should look something like this: chain=dstnat action=dst-nat to-addresses=192.168.x.x to-ports=80 protocol=tcp dst-address=41.56. x. x dst-port=8080 This assumes your camera is serving http port 80. You will need to put in your browser 41.56. x. x/8080 from OUTSIDE your network. The router will then...

Re: Inter-VLAN Communication

Why would you put PC1 and PC2 on a trunk port? I did a quick look at the switch specs and it looks like you can have multiple VLANS on a port. You should untag / remove trunking from the PC 1 and 2 ports and just add the appropriate VLAN to those ports that correspond with the IED's
