Ok, so it is 2W ...but that's sum of Tx power for both chains (hence 1W or 30dBm per chain) and AFAIK tx-power setting is per chain. In case you wonder how can it support 31dBm (1.26W) at lowest rate: for 802.11 n , 6Mbps (MCS0) is delivered using single stream ... seems that wifi output driver is ...

I don't know from where you got the information about max tx power of 2000mW , the specifications I linked in previous post mention 31 dBm (1259mW) as max Tx power at 6Mbps rate.

Re: about the packages in the mikrotik system

depends on what you will use. maybe you need DHCP to get IP address from the ISP. maybe you need ntp to get date and time. Maybe you need Security to get SSH access to your device. If not, then yes, 2 packages will be enough nice    [imghttps://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn...

Re: ch0/ch1...the polarity of sextant 5hnd

I always enable all chains and SXT connect to Hpol Or V pol fine. Is there any advantage to disabling chains when connecting to single chain APs?

you are on the right...i think if we check all boxes ..the sextant 5hnd will work with both H and V ..without to need to turn it 90deg

sorry .this is the first time i hear about that
but how we can work with linear mode ??
the wireless waves have just 2 behaviors ..H and V

Turn antenna 90deg an...
