RSTP Bridge Priority and Port priority and Path Costs Help

Hi Colleagues, I am running a bridged Network over three different Sites with Wireless Links as per attached Diagram. My Internet is from a Fritzbox (bridged also) before Bridge 2 on Site 1, Site 2 is a high Site. Currently I have not yet commissioned the Routers with Bridges 2 and 4 at Site 1. Ther...

Re: LHG 5 ac 10 MHz channel width

To Close this Topic, there is actually Reference to Channel Width in the Wiki here https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/Wireless#Wireless_hardware_table . Although this Table is not correct, this lists the Disc Lite (Disc-5nD) as 20 and 40 only, but I am running 10Mhz on it. Same with the...

Re: LHG 5 ac 10 MHz channel width

Thanks, they should at least say that in their Documentation. As you say, there is actually no apparent Reason. Seems none of the LHG 5 support it.

Just got two Cube Lite60 for one Link. I have a Lab on a back porch running on a RB750UP powering four Stations with pole mount and POE cable from the 750 each. It is connected to my Main Network on the Wan Port. On one Station I have an Omnitik in bridge mode (Wisp AP) that I use to access this Lab...

Re: 3 Router Wireless Link via Highsight- CCQ and Bandwidth problem

Thanks for the helpful reply. On the 2.4Ghz Article, I concur and thats why I moved my Link from 2.4Ghz to 5Ghz after 15 years on WRT54G Routers with Yagis. I did a lot of of reading (this really helped - https://shop.duxtel.com.au/article_info.php?articles_id=51) and fine tuning to my setup and hav...

Re: 3 Router Wireless Link via Highsight- CCQ and Bandwidth problem

Thanks for the advice, definitely my 5AC Sector that is battling. Checked Frequency Usage again and moved to another Frequency. Definitely there was adjacent Channel Interference, the one signal is about the same and the other is worse, CCQ overall improved but still not great on the problem Link. s...

Wireless but no IP Traffic

I am pulling my Hair out ! I have the following. RB411UAHR with Internet through a local Network on ether1 IP set to 192.168.1.50/24. On the onboard 2.4Ghz wlan1 I am running Hotspot with Userman on IP 10.50.5.1. This all works fine. On wlan2 I am running on 5Ghz in station Mode with IP 192.168.1.55...

Re: Hotspot and user Manger on Routerboard

Will the NAND Flash be enough, as the User Manager Wiki talks about "The router should have at least 32MB RAM and 2MB free HDD space." ?

Thanks for the Answer, Is my assumption correct that I can only use a Board with a Memory Card or USB for the necessary Storage ?

Hotspot and user Manger on Routerboard

I need to set up a self-contained Hotspot, with preferably Hotspot and User Manager on the same RB which also has to include wireless, which RB will have enough Memory, Ram to realize this.
Am I correct in assuming that I need at least a RB433 ?

Beginner needs advice

Firstly thanks for a great Forum with some real Experts here ! I have an existing wireless WDS Bridge running fine since eight years with a throughput of between 100-900 MB per Hour on the 2.4GHZ Band, as follows in the Drawing. All Routers are running dd-wrt, Router 1 is at my Home and has one Yagi...
