Re: Mikrotik API call not working [SOLVED]

Generating PHARs is a little bit difficult and time consuming right now, which is why I haven't done it yet... Since these new versions no longer support the old authentication method, I'll try to make a release this weekend.
Looking forward to the release! :D

Tested 1.0.0b6 version with RouterOS 6.44.1 and it worked.

It would be nice if Mikrotik tell us when they plan to remove the old login method.

You are telling your rounter to change every packet destionation. Edit your NAT rule and specify protocol and port in the first tab. A good way to do it is to specity in-interface, protocol and port in general tab. If you are using it only from internet to access your LAN. example code: /ip firewall...

Yes, you should block others from using your DNS Server and enable only your network to use it. Using filters, like you said.

Re: Is there a way to save the graphs before doing an upgrad

I have 9 RB1100 and some RB750GL.
All with save to disk option, save every 5 min.

All RBs do lose the data after an upgrade.
One routerboard also have a sd card installed, same problem.

If they can't workout the problem, maybe give us an option to export and import the data, we do the rest.

Re: masquerade - how to hide private lan

You can also block in the input chain too.
It will block attempts to access your routers services (winbox, web, ssh, etc).
In this case, just use IN interface, there is no out.

i think it would be like this:
/ip firewall filter add chain=input in-interface=wan-int connection-state=new action=drop

Re: masquerade - how to hide private lan

You use NAT to translate your LAN address to Internet address for outgoing connections. For incoming connections you use firewall filter rules, Allowing the ports you want, and then blocking everything at the end. You can allow communications with your ISP gateway and then block every other ip block...
