Re: Low throughput and high latency on 2,4ghz AP after some

Try to set the rts threshold to 512 in the AP, and in TP-Link clients. The frame life time...I don't know exactly, I think it's a store time, so how many times will be stored a frame if the router can't send it instantly, before drop them. I don't know the value is milli-, mikro- or nanosec for fram...

Re: Port forwarding

Yes it is.
MT1: external to airgrid then Airgrid: airgrid to customer.

Re: Simple Queue before dinamic simple queue

Hi,

Try to change the chain from forward to prerouting. I have an SMTP queue with a mangle rule and it works.

Re: Combine 2 ISP speed

I think you mark the connections in bad chains. Try to use prerouting chain instead of input and output.

Re: RB1100AX2 strange problem

Do you use routing marks in RB1100AH?
Did you try to ping or traceroute the dude server? Maybe it's a routing problem

Re: IP address deleted

Log in with mac address.
With winbox or with mac-telnet
/tool mac-telnet
If you do not know the mac address, put "Tab"

Re: Port forwarding

Read mikrotik wiki :D or give more information :) What is the customers client? MT or TP-link etc. Where would you do the forwarding? In your gateway, or in the customers client? Port forward example: /ip firewall nat add chain=dst-nat dst-address=x.x.x.x (external address) protocol=tcp (tcp/udp or ...

If I understand your question, it is not possible with proxy ARP.
What do you want exactly? Why?

Re: RB751U-2HnD PPPoE client and NAT not working

Hi! If I understand you problem, you can not create internet access. This is an easy scenario for internet connection with pppoe: Interface ip address /ip address add address=192.168.1.1/24 interface=ether1 NAT privat IP-s to pppoe-out /ip firewall nat add chain=src-nat src-address=192.168.1.0/24 ac...

Re: Low throughput and high latency on 2,4ghz AP after some

20 clients? I now see it. I think, if you would like to work this normally, you have to reduce your clients maximum 10/AP in 2,4Ghz b or g mode without TDMA. You try to enable hardware protection rts/cts on AP and clients, set up the rts threshold, and the frame fragmentation (Hidden node pr...

Make a virtual machine, and install on it the Dude. If the Dude crashed, then reboot the virtual machine. It's around 10 sec and it is independent from the phisical router...

Re: local file transfers slow...

Why do you use pseudobridge?
Why do not you use station-bridge or station-wds mode?
I don't understand what is the exact topology.

Re: Secure wireless bridge

-Use the SXT in bridge mode
-disable defaullt authenticate
-create an access-list rule with the client SXT's MAC-address and a true signal intervall.

If you use L2 manageable switch and using vlans, you can encrypt your data with PPPoE.

My ptp link is UBNT, but I use wds mode many links and them works correctly. I'm using nv2 protocol, and wireless mode 5G only N The worst signal is -75db The channel is totally free. 192.168.80.1 is the PPP Concentrator & Gateway (GW) 192.168.80.2 Ubnt 1 192.168.80.3 Ubnt 2 192.168.80.6 Omnitik...

Omnitik + SXT = high latency. Why?

Hi!

We have an Omnitik and it have 30 active clients (SXT all of them).
The problem, so i try to ping the clients the reply time is 15-80ms irrespectively of traffic. If I'm pinging the omni, the reply is 1-5ms.
Topology: PPP Concentrator -- PtP link (WDS) -- Omni --Clients.

Any idea?

Your Dude server is an X86 or Routerboard? Because my Dude server is X86 and I have this problem...
