Yes - why not? 5Ghz-only-N 20/40Mhz HT Above and u are good to go. Only remember to have max throughput its recommended to uz di-pole antennas (with regular antenna u will be able to run onlu chain0 so Air rate 150/150Mbps at ideal environment.
Have u clear LOS and Fresnel zone? If u do, have u tried to change frequency? Reason u have low rx value at receiver side could be low sensitivity radio card. U should see Tx/Rx level @ dBm as well check Signal to Noise (normal should be Signal to noise 25-35dB and Tx/Rx -60/60dBm)
As far i know frequency band and operating FCC 2.412 - 2.462 GHz (11 channels) 5.180 - 5.240 GHz (4 channels) 5.745 - 5.825 GHz (5 channels) But with Country mode no_country_set it and superchannel it should do 4920-6100Mhz (59 channels) but keep in mind they are not an authorized operating frequenc...
For what purpose you would want something like that? There are several low cost Gb compatible boards in market. My Favorite RB433GL only i dont like plastic Ethernet connectors..
Not 100% sure, but for 99% i think it will not work, as there are lot of other hw missing (transistors, resistors, synchronous buck reg. and so on and on.. )
SMA-RP question is answered by you already (Coz its designed for Rockets). Can you connect two cards to it and run them simultaneously on different frequencies? ie for Nstream dual. Yes only other side should have also dual polarization antenna Can you connect the two connectors on the same card to ...
Lower Tx Power (u should have around -45 to -55dBm)
Then set AP and Client:
HT Guard Interval to long
HT Extension Channel to Above Control
Select all 7 Options under HT AMPDU Priorities
Beam width on SXT is 25° on H/E plane so shouldn't be hard to do alignment at all. Have not seen any notable speed gradation in rain/snow/cold on such a small distances. Real life speed on 2km link with SXT is 190Mbps.
Not sure did i catch question. So u want connent MT device to MiFi device and run it as hostpot? Then why not? only u will need at least 2 radio cards in MT device.
Have similar problem, but in Rx Signal strength. Now its about -20°C out on street and my link shows weird readings from R52Hn card. Normal it would be -69dBm to -71dBm, but now it bounces from -77 to -96dBm. In same time don't see any speed or quality problems. Same with Signal to Noise which in no...
What frequency you run on your link? I gues 5Ghz band, Saudi Arabia don't support the 5ghz band by regulatory driver. If u wanna use it, leave Country to no_country_set
Here is million bucks question. Situation: Tower A (RB493AH) supplies tower B and C with 22dBi flat panel 5Ghz antenna @ 5180Mhz. Tower B runs R433AH with 2.4Ghz AP b/g (2427Mhz), 5Ghz AP (5300Mhz), Station WDS -> Tower A. Tower C runs RB532A with AP 2.4Ghz b/g (2457Mhz) and Station -> Tower A. When...
In your case take a look under Country selection, try to set it on No_Country_set) and take a look on Current Tx power tab. But i have another weird problem. Recently bought R52Hn (Manual says "Output Power of up to 25dBm @ a/g/n Band") but mine runs Max 22dBm under 6Mbps. Country mode No_...
Have some problem. Cant connect to AP, all the time getting authentication timeout error. Everything was ok till yesterday. Can it be caused by faulty radio card? in my case it's R5H.
I remember previous versions of Mikrotik feed-horns had problems with condensate, but the wan i have is solid. Anyhow will take feedhorn down and try it to dry for couple days.
Hi lads. Have weird issue. After storm link quality and overall performance went down and cant get it back. Problem is: Before storm (without thunder) my signal were around -67/68 dBm and CCQ ~100% (p throughput ~29000Kbps / Real Speed 18Mbps) but now all i can get is ~82/83 dBm and CCQ ~55% (p thro...
Im not sure - maybe something has changed, but there are no realy 100% working solution to capture p2p (torrent) traffic. You can try implant layer7 or set to http traffic higher queue.
Have noticed weird problem with R5H and ROS 5.7. Before upgrade from 4.17 Signal To Noise was around 25dB, after update it dropped to 10-13dB. As well time to time have Ethernet errors like: oct/23/2011 21:14:37 interface info ether1-link up (speed 100M, half duplex) oct/23/2011 21:14:38 interface i...
