Hotspot server problem with complex architecture.

Hey there. I am trying to enable a hotspot server in an architecture I have. First I tried to implement a portal server on another router (Huawei) but it was very complex. So, I figured why not getting a mikrotik router to get the job done. As I said the architecture is very complex (one might say u...

Re: 16 km link

Can you specify the name of the software that you use for this. My company is interested in buying a good program for setting up links and viewing the topology of the terain

SXT problem

I have a link set up containing two SXT antennas. The distance between them is 900 meters(pretty small). They r set up as station wds/bridge combo. The wireless protocol is any/nv2 , both chains, default Tx power, 803.11 N-only, 20/40 MHz channel. When the link was set up everything was going smoothl...

So this is in registration.
I dont know why HT20-4 has spikes like that one. The others are pretty harmonic. Also what is the Signal Strength Ch.1 and why is it -100/-100 dbm?

Re: RH433AH+R52Hn 25km link throughput problem.

The CCQ is quite low 20/20. I think this is why the throughput is low. How can i increase it?

Re: RH433AH+R52Hn 25km link throughput problem.

OK so i did what you said and it busted the throughput to 15/15 Mbps which is not the desirable value. At the beginning, when the link was set up, it went 34/34 Mbps. I was wondering if the drop of throughput is maybe caused by the fact that i was transmitting with 30 dBm and now the cards are messe...

RH433AH+R52Hn 25km link throughput problem.

Hey there. I have a set up 25 km link with 29 dBi gain antennas using RH433AH board and R52Hn interface. The link is station wds(one side) - bridge(other side). I am using wireless N-only, two chains, 20/40MHz above, long guard interval, maximum Tx power(30 dBm), and my TX/RX signal strength is -71/...

Re: Simulating distance while testing 2 SXT antennas ?

Ok i have one more question. I figured one SXT as station bridge and the other as bridge. When i do a bandwidth test i go in the one figured as station bridge and in wlan under Status i can see that there is a field called distance and it says 1km. Does that mean that the number given in there are f...

Simulating distance while testing 2 SXT antennas ?

Hey everyone. I am new tothis stuff so I appreciate any help. I have two SXT antennas at my disposal and I placed them 3 meters apart. I connected them and placed them in a bridge mode and they work just fine. My Tx is set to 0 dbm so that they don't burn out because of the short distance between th...

Re: SXT perfekt ptp config??

On the related subject I would like to ask something. I am trying to test two SXT antennas that are 3 meters apart. My question is how do I simulate a distance of 11 km instead of the 3 m. I did everything, connecting, setting up a bridge, ets.
Appreciate you help. Thanks
