How do I set up a layer 2 link across the SFP interface?

260GS OS rev 1.10 I am trying to set up a layer 2 link across a pair of 260GS switches connected by an SFP link. The fiber link is fine but there doesn't seem to be any ARP from the remote 260GS. I can confirm. We have the same situation. Spikes are at every 35 secs. 6.8rc1 does't repair a problem. We have this issue on RB1100Hx2, RB 1100 and RB2011. I can read before on any Polish forum that users have similar problems. We have it on RB2011 and RB750. We never upgraded the rest. Down gradi...

Re: Yipes, spikes?

We recently upgraded a number of RB1100 from 5.21 to 6.7 and are now seeing spikes (!?) in both the real time byte/packet graphs and in the Tx/RX columns in Interfaces. They appear to be real because they seen by other devices upstream/downstream. The heavier the traffic, the bigger the spike. They...

There are 2 ways that I know of to do this, for real time, click on the interface in webfig and open it up, scroll to the bottom and you should have both a real time byte graph and a real time packet graph. For non-volatile samples, set up graphing (webfig->tools-graphing) add all interfaces. Can be...

So far you have an x.x.x.x./27 on your wan interface. Just add a /32 within that /27 onto the same wan interface then just program your src/dst nat rules accordingly just using that /32 as the src or dst address. Then you can map everything to a single host or break up the ports to multiple hosts j...

Set their master port to none in the interface settings.

Yes, that's what I'd do normally but it doesn't show up under interface settings /webfig/#Interfaces.Interface.3, no master port shown (no gadget). I have no idea of how to do this from the CLI.
