Re: v6.48 [stable] is released!

So in my case 6.48 on RB3011 does not (yet?) exhibit the port flapping problem even after cold start (when the new firmware becomes fully effective). But this is a very early box, bought just after 3011's introduction; maybe there are other HW versions of 3011. Ondrej In our setup we have 2 WAN por...

Re: Any hands on experience - Net Metal 3x3 chain

So why Mikrotik produce the Netmetal Triple chain?
I see multiple antenna manufacturers have antennas and I see Netmetal 3x3, but not sure if it adds any value or it is nothing. I heard that it could double the download speed, no clue if that is true.

Nobody is using Netmetal 3x3 with any antenna?
What do we expect in terms of performance with CPE such as sxt or lhg

I wonder if anybody is using the triple chain with any experience that could be shared.

Thanks, macsrwe I believe I may have fixed the mysterious low CCQ and wrong distance. We changed the channel width to 20 instead of 20/40. We are using LNS, PPPoE over L2TP tunnels, it works perfect and I recommend 6.39.1 as they have fixed couple of annpying bugs that was crashing some L2TP sessions in a special setup.
In our case Cisco is going out soon ;-)

Good job Mikrotik

MLPPP of 2 connections showing many more?!

RB750 firmware 6.18

The MLPPP seems to work however we have only 2 symmetric lines, when bonding if you go to the status it shows that the active links 4, 5, 6 any number.
What is the reason for this or does anyone else see this behavior?
