Re: how to achieve the quick roaming

I've tested CPE switch between the two AP-bridge by dynamic-mesh mode , when one of AP shutdown, the CPE could not quickly connect other AP , Must wait for 3-4 seconds to connect, We hope that no delays will be able to connect or Very low Almost not aware of.

Re: help 333 pentium 3 1000

What is your goal? The 333 is probably faster in raw routing due to the packet engine, and is probably more reliable than a 7 year old hunk of iron. If you have some deep queuing, the P3 may surpass it somewhat.
I think P3 1000MHz faster than RB333 in routing and NAT

RB333 throughput very low

I tested RB333 with RouterOS 3.0rc3. eth1 and eth2 setup bridge mode with 64k packet size.

setup bridge use-ip-firewall = no
throughput = 37.1kpps

setup bridge use-ip-firewall = yes
throughput = 14.3kpps

maybe enable NAT throughput will be lower!!

How to improve throughput????
