Re: Load Balance PCC question

Hi!

you are dividing connections, not traffic, that is that you will have more or less same connections on each WAN, but the traffic will depend on that connections.

If all "youtube" connections goes to WAN3, this connection will use more bandwidth.

You can use that, it should work, but If you want to create a good service, you need to use something as "station" to receive signal and repeat in another frequency with that Aps. I prefer to have devices for point to point and devices for multipoint. And try to avoid APs with 2 radios in ...

I cant try it now here, but I think you have to make a new address list with the IPS or networks you want to avoid access and later you can add two filter rules. Play with the Tick before the address list in the filter rule. (Negative with the tick)

This route is for the router itself.

You dont mark the output chain... Then the router needs to have 2 default routes. One for isp1 and one for isp2.

Hi,

this is not for that.

This limit is to avoid connections grom -X to -x dbm.. BUT if you are connected and your signal drops, you wont be kicked out. This parameter is only read when you try to connect.

Then its not working. Trial is something like: 1h/24h (I give you 1h of Internet each day). Look in ip/hots...

I hope you can modify it to get it working as you need: :local valor1; :local valor2; :local valor3; :local tx; :local rx; :local total; :set valor1 [/interface wireless registration-t...

if you don't want internet access, deny all the traffic to internet in ip firewall.

I recomend you to look in the wiki, because there are lot's of examples of firewall rules.

Look for MACs and rename the etherX as needed. There are some problem with interface names order in 1100AHx2. perhaps this is another issue. But I think is not important if you can rename the interfaces.

Configure a bridge in both sites with RSTP enabled. Select diferent priority in each bridge and later add ports to the bridge with diferent cost.

Hello,

it's very easy if you use RSTP.

Configure a bridge in both sites with RSTP enabled. Select diferent priority in each bridge and later add ports to the bridge with diferent cost.

use the same ip range in all APs.

Hi!

It's very easy.

Create a bridge in each board, add all interfaces in the bridge, active RSTP in ip/bridge and read about RSTP to configure cost on each interface in ip/bridge/port. Change priority of the bridges too.

Uh? Configure connect list in /wireless in the CPEs.

There you can add, in order, your preferred MAC of the APs this CPE have to connect.

Access list is to enable access of one mac to the AP YOU ARE CONFIGURING. connect list is where you can connect.

To log the traffic (correctly) you have to use radius.. But, you can configure a hotspot, and create users with username=MAC of each user. Then they will login without user/pass.. The hotspot will log the tx/rx bytes when you reboot. You need to create max time session in the hotspot to force the ho...

Hello,

You can make this with NAT. set all IPs to wan port (ether1) and create nat rules to the priate networks.

Read about NAT in the wiki.
