These releases are pretty much paper launches anyway and one can not buy none of the new stuff.New hardware looks great, still - I'm putting all Mikrotik purchases on hold until RouterOS v7 becomes stable - at the moment there are too many serious issues.
nRay and LHG 60G is supposed to be capable same link lengths. Why to lower power limit for the nRay and not for LHG 60G? How that will play out?This is due low gain antenna? WHich is the difference from LHG60?w60g - limit power output when using region EU to match EN302567 on nRAY;
It is on Telia provided Inteno. Model is unknown (at the moment), but it has GB capable ports and this box is actually running an OpenWRT.Ivoshiee what device is connected on the other end of RB2011?
Not a resolve6, but the ping6.Then where definitely should be at least something like resolve6! Damn, two years is almost done since the promised feature....So in the mean time do this instead ... since workaround is pretty trivial
I recall as reading the 1Gbps spec as mandating the use of auto-negotiation and you can not have standard way for the 1Gbps operation without it.Disabling auto-negotiation not helps...
I saw somewhere that devices with multi core should stay away from the v6 as well.Write please List of products
that good to be use RouterOS v6.6+
and what List of products better stay on 5.26
i see that 750 \ 450 and non wo-fi 2011 beter stay on 5.26!
v3.30 does not have any 802.11n support. I do not recall if the v4 has it either.3.30 this version is not usable anymore even 4.x is not usable on the new hardwarei confirm
3.30 + nstream - STABLE
5.x + nstrema - NOT STABLE
+1Theres nothing in the changelogs about changes to the wireless driver relevant to this thread.
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Wi ... ControllerSounds not good, I hoped I would be able to solve it on MikroTik soft and stuff... Maybe MT guys can say something for that issue ? Is it possible in MT or not ?
Not likely.this is not a discussion about having clear los and yadda yadda like that, PLEASE STICK TO WHAT I ASKED or refrain from giving opinions..
Again, WILL THERE BE 802.13AC mPCI RADIOS in the near future?
A RMA case for you?As I said, I tried many other cables. I also tried RB-2011UAS-RM and RB-450G, no problems.
I also tried other PoE injectors. I have tried long cables (100FT) and short cables (3FT).
Nothing makes a difference.
I have never had it link at gigabit speed.
Why? I have a RB153 running happily as an AP with v5.24 and I see no major complaints with it.Cat even use 133c for CPE with ppoe it uses 100% cpu power.
I have 150 in a box unopened still in original boxes and packing.
Money in the drain
Is that the only supported chipset?AR9580 chipset cards are tested to be supported.
Is there an official list of those cards? I've found nothing and random testing of my Atheros chipset cards are not working. If the card is not supported, it is not showing up in RouterOS. If it is showing in interfaces, it is supported. We support all kinds of Quallcom/Atheros chipset based cards.
It is strong enough.is the plastic cover of the sextant is bad ????!!!!!...i think it is strong enough to open it ...
It is being told to be a manufacturing issues that do not let Mikrotik to deliver these devices. We'll see if the first patch or two are crappy or not.So when will it be available?
Where are those Routerboard mini PCI-E modules? These should have been released in may but routerboard.com does not even mention those? You can already put a 2GHz wireless card inside, as there is one free miniPCIe slot.2,4Ghz unit? Available when?
RB800 is very old model. They may develop something similar, but it is likely totally different beast (and is using Mini PCI-E slots instead).Hi,
Mikrotik, since you have SFP model, why not add the SFP to RB800 or similar routerboard?
Nice, but what is it supposed to fix or change?new build of v6.2 today, for anybody living on "the bleeding edge"
It sounds something for the OpenWRT. Maybe they are developing it.does anyone have any more informaiton on linux on CCR? who got it going, etc> any links etc?
thanks leon
Estimated Time of Arrival.do you mean Equipment Type Approval??
Now you know.my came with one installed, and another in a plastic zip-bag, with 2 small screws. No indication whatsoever what its for!!
What version of the ROS is providing firmware 3.0.7? What ethernet issues are being fixed by it and on what hardware?lorenzesz, upgrade firmware to 3.07 on RB912, it solves ethernet issues.
Check if the MAC addresses travelling through your bridges are preserved or you'll likely just see all as being the same.or something other... (probably problem with mac addresses)
ping host file=statusfile
Qualcom NDA?ours is not GPL and based on any other projectIf your Wifi is much better then contribute that back to the vanilla kernel as well.because our wifi is much better
If your Wifi is much better then contribute that back to the vanilla kernel as well.because our wifi is much better
Why is that code duplication needed?just as previously written elsewhere on this forum, MikroTik uses it's own drivers, not wifi from the kernel.
Over TCP it is working for them. I wonder why UDP is not supported?Mikrotik does not offer OpenVPN over UDP. I just figure this out and I'm looking into Vyatta for now.
Good luck in your project.
Marketing? Cloud is a buzzword, it will sell whatever box you stick that label on.So...... tell me.... why did you even call this a Cloud Core Router?
Are you kidding? If you tie your ability to detect a protocol merely to a port then you are gravely mistaken.SSTP, since it works on TCP 443, same as HTTPS.
Do not expect too much.V6.0 released today
Does anyone know if there is a fix for this included?
Subnetting? Are you kidding here? Pictured 2-3 subnets is nothing to be worried about. From the looks of your IP addressing I would imagine your subnetting is going to be your biggest limitation - not RAM or processing power.
Is there any reason it should work better? Do you have some insights into that version of ROS?Try latest ROS 6.0rc12
Regards,
Famous (last) words. Thanks for download links. I upgrade CCR with that packages. I hope all problems will be fixed in short time.
?topic is exhausted - replace things
OK, may I assume that the ROS v5 series has come to the end and no improvements/fixes will land there?please contact support@mikrotik.com - we will provide you with a test release which most likely will fix it.
For now you can test out RouterOS v6.0rc6 and report back with the results.
Yeah, I had that idea as well, but it should not be the proper way.not a resolve to the actual problem, but to make it work, make a script, adding Your setting's every time the ppp drops or something like that.
Are you developer of that code?
I'll try to find, it should be somewhere in my HDD, but still why should the vanilla wine not work?Try crossover. I don't have any problems with it.
Thanks. I expected it to be the MT box itself that should have the Internet access. You must have internet access on host you run winbox.
